Thread: How do you check a url in c panel ????????

I see that VH has upgraded my cpanel. Can anyone say if there is a simple way to check the url of a web page by clicking on the file like there was in the old cpanel & be able to check the url is working ok via a link, or have i missed something really simple.

If you are in the SIMPLE file manager.. not the legacy, if you look uppper top left right below the menu bar there.. it tells you where you are! Right next to the little house!

In the old cPanel we could just copy the full url on the top righthand corner.

With the accelerated cPanel the url as described by Karen is not complete.

We would have to add in the file extension.

Seems strange that something so basic & useful is not available any more in what is classed as an upgrade. I wonder why they did away with it?. It was very useful to tell a VH member to go there & check there page had uploaded & test the url via a quick click on a link. (Strange how some minds work)

Now I understand what Karen was trying to tell us.

When you go into cPanel, select the "Legacy File Manager".

It is a revamp of the old File Manager we are used to.

Ah! Muchas gracias VH amigo's. I was looking for the "Legacy File Manager" when i had already gone into file manager & wondered why i couldn't see it.
