About LinkBacksI have a discrepancy between what my PPC stats claim vs. what AWSTATS says. And, it's a big one at that! I am told by my PPC (one of the big 4 search engine companies) that I received 242 visits to my site yesterday. AWSTATS says it was 4. Any idea how that happens? I've been fooling around with this particular PPC for months now and have never seen a discrepancy like this.
This does happen to be the very first PPC traffic to this particular new website of mine. Still, I can't figure it out. Not a very promising ROI so far...Ha!

I would imagine PPC is either labeling a hit as a visit, or your are looking at unique visitors while PPC is displaying all visits from the same users.
That's just a guess though, I have never used PPC or anything.
