    Have tried doing it manually.

Incuding symbols such as '?' and numbers as well as letters?

I've never used the auto option so I cant comment.

    Good luck

I'm thinking he meant he's wasting time trying to figure it out, not that we are wasting his time.

This sounds like a job for Support.

    Hi Jerry

I don't know if this would help especially when you have exhausted
    all other venues.

    1. First off, hit Caps Lock to enter all UPPERCASE characters
    2. Think of using a special character like $
    3. Start with 3 characters, then $, then 2 characters, then $,
then a numeral. You can make the numeral as the number of your
    family members or whatever.

I am having the same problem and after reading this thread started a help ticket. Even if you use the generate password function and it tells you its 100% good, the next screen tells you password too weak.

Went through the same thing - they've set the strength at "super beyond all everything" - I had support fix it and can now set passwords again - put it in their court
