Thread: Addon vs. subdomain confusion

Hi,

I need to add another domain to my account. I haven't done this in a while, so since I couldn't remember if I had the otherones as addons or sub-domains I look at both folders. Well, I found all my domains in both. hmmm.... so I tried to add this new domain as an addon, and was shown the following thing:
Addon Domain Additions

There was a problem creating the addondomain. Show Details
Sorry, you are not allowed to add any more than (0) addon domains! The domain below was not setup!

hmmmm again.... I already had 4 addons (and deleted one that I don't use anymore), but I still could not add this one.

So then I added it as a subdomain, but still when I publish it does not show in my browser (I get an error message)...

Please help!!!

Put in a support ticket for this. YOu should be able to create the addon. A subdomain will not act as a domain or an addon.. your url will be subdomain.domainname.com
