Thread: url shows index page

I have started getting a handle on using BlueVoda but when I type in the url I get an index page. I know that it has something to do with CPanel but somehow in all of the tutorials I must have missed something.

Your page should be named "index" and published to "public_html/"

Open index page in BV and right click to goto Properties.

In the url box enter the following:

http://www.jctp.us

Name your page "Home"

If you want the SE's to find you? Name your home page as index & add an appropriate title via page property's that relates to the content of the page & key words used.
Do not title your page "Home" as many wont type home into google.

I have repeatedly opened the page properties on the page and there flat is no url box except under misc for a redirect I know this is not what i can use.

Is there some other way to open properties beside right click?

well thanks one and all but a fine fella with voda host found and fixed the problem for me. It would seem that my ftp server decided I wasn't the right sort any more and gave me the run around, but Daniel gave me a means and a way to get'r done. so once more all is well in the merry old land of Oz!
