Thread: CPanel Ooops

I have been through the threads and have seen no situation like mine mentioned. While editing my index page, I pasted the code for Revolvemaps and the entire CPanel is now SUPER zoomed in and I cannot navigate to my page to edit. Is this a new thing? Ideas or suggestions?

Simply close Blue Voda without "saving" your page to remove your last (ill-advised) action.
If You Cannot Close Blue Voda and/or Programs Normally: From your keyboard, simultaneously hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE if you cannot use your normal controls to close programs, and use the Task Manager instead.
If you added this script to your computer before investigating it by first scanning with your anti-virus and cannot close programs properly or access Task Manager, simply hold in your computer's OFF switch until it is forced to shut down. Give it a 10 minute rest before starting back up, and immediately run anti-virus scans to determine if your system has been compromised.

If, however, you are attempting to "edit" your pages directly upon the files while in your hosting account cPanel, then you are missing the boat completely on how to use Blue Voda. You will need to study the Tutorials (for both BV and cP). You can only edit and Publish Blue Voda created pages from within Blue Voda itself: you must use the Publish command or icon, as Blue Voda is a HTML generator which will create an encrypted page only to unencrypt when connecting to and publishing upon a VodaHost server exclusively.

If you messed up your cPanel, you will need to either "restore" (which re-populates your entire account from the last backup, essentially losing all work doen from the last backup date) or "reset" your hosting account (which wipes it clean and forces you to start from scratch) which will provide you with a brand new cPanel as well.

If you don't have much already published, you might as well request an "Account Reset" from Support, as you have all your work saved on your computer and would then only need to re-publish to a clean account. An account Reset may also assure you that you did not inadvertantly upload a virus, worm, or Trojan to your account (which could potentially infect any other account on the same server). Something to think about, and to keep in mind whenever choosing to add any scripts to your pages ...
