Thread: why does a index show up instead of my main page?

I am currently trying to publish my website, it is supposed to be
www.achrccornwall.ca
however, when you type that address in it comes up as a directory? and you can click the files to open pages.
www.achrccornwall.ca/achrcwebsite.html
the above link is supposed to pop up for the original address, however i cannot seem to figure out how to make it happen. It just seems to stay as the directory. I cleared the history and such and tried to republish it, but still nothing. I orginally had it, when i manually uploaded it, however none of the images etc showed up. Im stumped....

You must publish your main page as index (all lowercase, no extension). After that, all links to that page should be http://www.archrcornwall.ca
