Default Error Page Shows My Username

    Hi,
A while ago I went and changed my 404 error page through cpanel (on someones advice). I can't remember what I did or whether my changes could have caused this but I noticed on the web if anyone were to just add /404shtml to my site they can read my user name. My files also show a 404 error page that would be my domain name plus /wysywigPro_edit_404_shtml. If I type that into the internet anyone can view lots of codes, again including my username.

Is this normal and/or safe. I imagine that many people know that these extensions can be added and would be able to look at my details.

How can I change this. I don't know if I can delete these files or will that completely mess up my site?

    Thanks

I cannot seem to duplicate above on my machine using my domain names....

If you email me your domain name I will have a look, if you wish.

Thank you I would appreciate that. I can not see an email button on the posts. Where would I send it? I don't want to post it on the forum as I just told everyone they can see my details!

    Thanks

It isn't a security risk, without the password they can't get into your cPanel... plus the default username for your website is the first 7 letters of your domain name..
