hi,
can i have something like yahoo briefcase..i mean a folder on my website which is password protected and the folder has some word files attached to it. and i could access the folder on the website only if i have the password..???

It's called a sub-directory! You can set one up with password protection and use it for whatever you want.

how do i create a subdirectory???

Hi...i would be appreciate if someone could please teach me how to password protect my web page, .i.e. only registered users from my site can acess all pages ortherwise it is limited for everyone. Thanks in anticpation.

Sorry, that should have said sub-domain. Check out the tutorial on creating sub-domains by following the tutorial link beneath my signature.

You can only password protect sub-domains. Please watch the tutorials on creating sub-domains. The link is below my signature.
