Thread: Uploading for the first time.

Hi Gang,

I received my e-mail with my log in details. I have no problem accessing/loggin in to my Control Panel, but when I try to publish my web page and log in, it won't accept me. Does this have anything to do with the 24-72 hour waiting period?

Am I correct in uploading my webpage thru the FTP area?

Also, when I try to log in, my temp FTP address supplied to me in the e-mail doesn't exist as one of the choices in the log in dropdown.

Sorry for the bother. Maybe I need to go over one of the tutorials.

Oh by the way, I am man and you know how we are with reading instructions.

Sounds like you need to download the latest version of BV web-builder. That should have all the IP addresses updated that you need. You will find it here;

Make sure you select correct DNS server per your account, I'm sure you received in welcome e-mail.

Thanks. The latest version solved the login problem. I uploaded the webpage, however when I went to my temp URL (Site URL isn't available yet) all I get is a directory.

I was expecting to see the web page. Man, I really need to go over the instructions. I just thought I knew enough that it would be straight forward.

If you are seeing your directory- you named the first page something other than - index

Your first page must be - index

Make that change and when you click on your website-

http: //www.yourdomain.com

It should show up.

I downloaded Soholaunch tried it, loved it now cannot get it back.
so frustrating can anyone help me, I cannot log in, it says server not available

Try emptying your temp files cache, re-boot computer and then re-try.
