I could organize a little tutorial but there is one snag... I do not use BV. This isn't a problem as far as creating CSS instructions but i do not know how the CSS commands will intefere with 'styles' in BV. Anybody? |

Well, thanks FP I am just trying to understand this better so I'm looking for information. I don't know how to use CSS yet or if It would even apply to my uses but I see people talking about it and feel lgnorant on the subject. |

ok, its no probs, dont feel ignorant... its just a normal progression. i will mess around with a few ideas for some tutorials but while you are waiting.... 1) make a blank page in BV but instead of saving it as a .HTML save it as a .CSS (in the same location as your index.html page) 2) if BV doesnt allow you to save it as a .CSS (please let me know) you can also create a .TXT document in windows but dont save it as a .TXT, save it as a .CSS (in the same location as your index.html page). .CSS files should always be in the same location as your index.html page and just for the sake of starting this tutorial it should be totally blank, nothing on the .CSS page at all. Eventually coding will be added to this page in order to style the website and create various effects. Prepare to be addicted LOL :) |

OK, no probs. Do a right mouse click anywhere on your Windows desktop. Select NEW from the menu that appears The select TEXT DOCUMENT from the sub menu Save this file in the same location as you index.html page. Save it as style.css I am now away (from Wednesday til Sunday) but once you have saved you CSS file I can start working on CSS commands to add to it as soon as I return. |

Sanny, Re-read this thread again. FPRob said how to save the file so that you can start the process. When they arrive back on Wednesday, they will continue with the thread and the process. You may want to read up on the subject of CSS here http://w3schools.com in the meanwhile. Randall

CSS is the way to go now. w3school is one of the best source of knowledge regarding this. I actually dont see any issue on this. :)
