The best sites I use for this type of thing - have it right on the page, but I haven't seen them have an ebook. However, there's no reason you can't copy the information and save it - or save the pages to see offline -

I do like using w3.org for much of this type of thing - you can see their advanced css here: http://www.w3.org/2005/Talks/11-steven-css-advanced/
