Hi Ken...Nice site and my syympathies on the tragedy of the officers.

Now the comments:

1) Center your pages - right click on the background and choose properties and then select CENTER IN BROWSER.

2) the text by itself on the accident page and the arts fest page should (I think ) have the same headr and background as all other pages -consistency keeps a readers attention better.

3)The home page needs to be a bit more organzied - for example I would center the silver menu bar under your banner; move your left vertical banner to align under the p[icture above (BUT NOT centered...more to left); organize your weatherand amazon at bottom; put your picture with lady in center and text below it and the other stuff between it.

Ok ...sorry...got a little too involved but these were just my ideas and I hope you don't mind.

All that being said I think you have somtheing really good here and llook forward to go ing back to see what you do next.

Ummm...sorry Ken one more thing...could you slow down the speed of the scroll bar...for slow readers.

My sympathies for your loss. You have some good information here. I love Chicago, it was nice to see Grand Lake Drive to the beginning of the Magnificent Mile, and the Sears Tower. I found the people there very friendly and the city amazing, Chicago offers so much to see; Field Museum, Lincoln Zoo, Aquarium, Navy Pier, etc. I have been there several times and I'm hoping to go again.

I think your site would look good if you centered your pictures, "balanced" them out on your page. I think on your Red page, instead of yellow writing, perhaps white or cream color writing, could be more pleasing to the eye. Just a suggestion, love the biking thing and love Chicago.

Ken, I don't feel any coherence between your pages. I'd like to see you make a template for all the pages to follow - with the navigation in the same place on all of them.

You also have your work cut out for you putting titles on pages, etc.

You've done a lot of work and it will always be a work in progress - but remember - se's will not always send people to your home page - so those interior pages have to have the same header and navigation to get to other pages.
