(Best Robert Newton pirate voice...) Aarrgh, matey! Sure as me scuppers are on the poopdeck this be a fine site. What a minute... er, we're talking sailing of a different kind. Sorry. I don't have a clue as to 'naff', but your site put a smile on my face and I liked the music... ah, uplifiting like a draft of air? Good stuff, Allan! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished work.

The bottom link buttons 'Online Entry' and 'Contact Us' looked like they could drop down just a bit more below the text... just a bit.

    Thanks for sharing, Allan!

    Nice work,
There seems to be a link behind "Wolds Gliding Club" that isn't active yet.
    Consider titles for your pages.

    Hey McCirrus

I like your site and I couldn't get that tune out of my head for an hour after that. Naff maybe but it leaves a lasting impression. I'm a bit sight impaired and found the text on the center of your home page a bit difficult to read in the font you have used.

All up it looks good, nice work!

Thanks guys, ive removed some of the less clear pictures, i'd made them gif images hoping they would load quicker but the loading rate doesnt seem to be an issue. I've taken your comments on board about the text size and readability and will look for an alternative.

Thanks Ryan appreciate that and Intiendes i've got a contact link at the bottom but i guess i could add a contacts page.
Whilst I've got your attention could you check out my microsoft agent which was so kindly shown to me on another voda site. I'd be interested to know if Merlin Appears on your screen and does he speak to you?

Hi Mr Cirrus ... I like your music, I like music on sites, although I don't use it for a number of reasons, I like it ....

Yes, Merlin works for me on that page, and he doesn't speak, lol, although he puts out text ... lol .... I think there are some limitations of this working for some people as you have to have use IE or something, sorry can't remember what it is I want to tell you here ... someone will pick up on this and let you know ...

You have a great nav bar there, pretty well organized, it would be nice if the entire nav bar was on every page of your site, thereby allowing viewing to go wherever they wanted to from every page, as opposed to hitting back to get to the nav bar each time, just my preference to be able to nav through a site from every page .....

It looks really really nice!! Great job and interesting too!!

Thanks LadyEye, your right i need to put my menu bar on every page. I can paste it on OK. However, if i subsequently deciede to change it slightly does that mean i have to go through every page and repaste the new menu on. I wonder, is there someway you can have a master menu that when changed on my index page will also change on all the other pages i have it shown on. Can anyone help me with this?

Site looks great. Just a few housekeeping items that I saw:
    1. Organization in your menu bar is misspelled
    2. On the Daily News page, there seems to be something behind the text box
    3. I saw some html code at the top of the News Entries page. Also a box with an X in it, followed my mouse. Is Merlin suppose to be there? If so, he's not.
    4. On Champions, Merlin is there, but doesn't speak, although I do get a text box
    5. Media About Gliding page not found

The only other comment as mentioned above, is consistancy on the nav bar on every page. Also I got the feeling I was going to different sites with the different background colors. Maybe once you have your nav bar on every page, it won't feel that way to me. I love the clouds background on one of the pages.

I don't mean to be nit picky here, but I do like your site and the music. Have fun with it!!

Now then Mr Cirrus. I reckon your websites pretty good. I've been at Rufforth for a while now and am certainly interested in coming to the nationals!

One thing- The press release seems to stop suddenly. I think you need to finish it. I love the page on weather- top notch! Well done my main man!

Dreamlady, the thing behind the text box is my attempt to use i-frames to transfer my menus to the top of every page but i cant make it work. when i look at my i-frames properties it does say "Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames
" i wonder if thats the problem?
The box following the cursor was my attempt to get a glider to follow the mouse around but its not working. I used the snoopy from rainbow script and my plan was to replace snoopy with a glider, it says i shoul save the image in the same place as my HTML but i dont understand where this is, can anyone help (does anyone understand what i'm babbling on about). Merlin doesnt speak unless you download some software which i will eventually try and provide a link to (if i can ever work out what software you need to download!!). Media page has been fixed now. Your right about it seeming a bit of a mish mash of pages, should improve slightly if i ever work out how to add my menu bar. I really appreciate you taking th etime to look through these pages and spot the faults.
Lincslady small world, im a lincsman (cleethorpes) thanks for your comments.
Now then MrSkylarker appreciate your comments on the forum, a real nice selection of restaurants i'm busy making links to them and adding maps. You are obviously a man of impecable taste as opposed to the Pocklington Oiks who've given me a list of greasy caf's serving "rite good meat pies" Thanks for your comments
