    Smile Website

Hi Guys (Ladies too - Smile),

I still have a long way to go, but I would appreciate your taking a look at my website, www.bobsinternetmart.com and letting me know of anything that I should do to make it as appealing and user friendly as possible. I have only two product catagory pages that are active presently, (out of approximately 12), but I just wanted to get some feedback before I got too far along. Thanks and have a great day.

Looking good so far there Rob, just might have to get in on this!

I like your scheme, colours .... one thing, I guess you should never underline anything that does not link to anything .... and when you go to another site, you should set the page that it opens in another browser so that users still have a page of your site open, you do this in the link properties and use the word _blank .... this opens another page instead. ...

    good luck ....

Hi, most things are looking great! One or 2 small things.
    Home page

Maybe better without the underlining of words. They feel like a link but aren’t? Maybe just make the words bold.

    Clothing page
Is shifting to the right on entry?

This page seems to have stretched? http://www.bobsinternetmart.com/index.php?pr=Opportunities
But let someone else confer this. Did try in IE & fire fox.?

Contact page is doing the same as the one above.? http://www.bobsinternetmart.com/index.php?pr=Contact_Us

    Good luck.

    Chris.

The site is looking good so far. One thing I may suggest is changing the picture you chose for your home page as I thought your company was a construction company or building material outlet. Just a thought. kenb

You have put a lot of work into your site, now for some tweaking.
-Consider taking the counter off - old fashioned and you can check stats from your cpanel. Users don't need to see it.
-Also, on NavBar "Adlandpro" sends users to another website, you will lose visitors, consider changing target to '_blank' so it opens in anew wondow.
-Center "We become free by serving and encouring each other”
-This page: http://www.bobsinternetmart.com/index.php?pr=Contact_Us needs work, looks lopsided.

    Good luck

Thanks Lady Eye. I have made quite a few changes today based on the
suggestions from all of you. I still have to take care of the problem with
the Adlandpro link. I am going to do what you suggested so that visitors to my site will be able to return. Thanks - you guys are awesome.

Thanks Kenb - I changed the picture - I thoroughly agree. I just didn't give it much thought when I chose that template. Bob

    Hello Bill,

I received great suggestions from all of you. I have already made several
changes based on those suggestions and I agree - the counter is not necessary. Thanks for your help.

If you wish to be picked up by the search engines you will need to change your title tag to reflect what it is you are doing. People won't search for your site by typing the domain name into the search engines, but they will search by the terms describing the items you are selling.

I also noticed that the page width seemed a bit wide for my screen. You may want to narrow your page just a bit.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi there. It looks good to me. Perhaps its a little unusual to advertise a private email on a corporate page but otherwise good.

    Red face Re: Website

    Hello Bill,

I am having problems with the Adlandpro link. I am building this site using SoHoLaunch and they do not have the blank option to allow users that
click Adlandpro to be redirected back to my site after finishing with Adlandpro. Do you, by any chance, know what I would need to do to accomplish this using SoHoLaunch?

    Thanks,

    Bob
