Hi there,

I just had a quick look and noticed the following:

• Copyright was written copywrite (not sure if you intended that).
• Your splash page is exceptionally overweighted with keywords that that 1-repeat and 2-are not reflected in any text, this may make some search engines ignore you.
• Your about us and To be an author headinlines wrap on my screen in an unattractive manner.

I like the open book theme, really cute and fun for kids. It will be fun to see how it progresses. Good luck.

Wow Sharon, awesome cool idea, I wish you luck with this .....

when you click the barefoot traveller on the first page of your story, takes you to that site, but how do you return to the book?

You will definitely have to keep us posted as to the progress of your book .... I luv it!

The bad thing is you have to back click, if anyone can think of a better way I'm all ears.

yeah when you insert the link have the properties of the link target to _blank, this opens a new browser page, so when that is closed your site is still there ....

will look at what mike is talking about and let you know ....

Yeah, I believe what he is referring to Sharon, is the fact that the text is not where you may want it to be ... tug the handles of your text a little further than the words when you place it and it should then be fine ...
it's dropping where you don't want it to drop ...
done this lots of times myself, always looks fine on my machine, but someone else's no ....

And on the to be an author page, you would actually have that written twice .... about us is in the window of one of your pics on your header, as is the to be an author, but then you also have that written below

Yeah, your link to your other site from the book is fixed, but the type on those two pages doesn't appear fixed to me .... sorry, lol .... gotta try again eh! If it were me, I would just get rid of the text and insert new text and see if that worked ... it's only a couple of words, but I know that is not where you want them to show .... lol ....

First thank you for all your help. That said, are you seeing the fancy script? We might be seeing 2 very different things.

hmmmm ... well what I am seeing sharon is perhaps a larger size of georgia font, maybe, and it is just that it is not in the spot that I would assume you want it ....

tell me this, when you look at the words

About Us - on that page
and
To Be An Author - on that page

do you see the blue handles of your text, and when looking at the handles does it appear that there is another empty line of space below your text, if so, unlock the text, stretch the blue handles out beyond your text and place your text where you want it and then lock your page and republish, let's check that

No none of that, I'm trying to make them smaller and change the font. We are now timing out.....Stay tuned the saga continues.

lmao ... perhaps the text is not even there for you to see, take your mouse and go all over and under in the mid section just below your header and see if a text block is hidden and you have it in invisible mode ... lol

could be a loose line of text showing to us and not to you .....

and well maybe that has been the trouble all along .... why not try re-starting your computer and see what happens when you come back on ...

The Site is really a great idea. TJ is very lucky and Grandmother knows what she is talking about in regards to how fast children grow and how valuable time is, no matter what you are doing if you are doing it together then it is time well spent. I'll have my son participate but I don't think I can fit my site name in story. You didn't change copywrite but maybe as Mike asked, you meant to do that with the spelling. It looks very nice and everything works for me. Got here late..even missed the beer.

Great site and great idea. I hope you had that beer. I am not sure if you fixed the text at the bottom of the about us page next to contact us. On my screen the text is on top of each other and I can't read the first half. I did not see any fancy text it might be mixed with the other text. Keep up the good work and good luck to you.

Great site. I liked the book as a background. I also liked that you used a simple but very good style.
