Thread: Will this mini-site sell?

I have just finished my website (mini-site) to sell
e-course.
it is long-sales-letter type, I need your views in general...

Maybe it will sell, if you advertise it enough.

Since you brought it up, it is a rather lengthy letter, consider breaking it up. Also, consider getting rid of that very annoying pop-up when a user X's to close. I may be wrong but when that happens, users may make a note to avoid your page altogether.

I agree with Bill - you need to break up the looong page into more friendly groups

Ann and Bill have given you the best advice so I can just ditto their remarks it is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. ditto the pop up also, I know I'm one who would leave and leave the site alone also.

for some reason i didn't get the popup but yeah definitely agree with everyone here, like Bill says, break it up, make a few different pages, with the general jist of each paragraph as its own page under its own heading, would make it more interesting too ...

I think we all have vices me (wine,boating,birds,flying,money,lovin) the list goes on and so does your home page. Split it up and SHOCK the addics or the family members that are are most likely your target audience. I am not sure that people you are looking for, or have enough patience to get 1/4 to the bottom of your home page. As mentioned above your site will work if you think about what would make a change your life in 1 page....kenb

More DRAMATIC REALISTIC PICS to the the sufferer should get your point across. Pictures say a 100000000000 words!

Consider taking a look at the designs that book sellers are using and methods of marketing, doing a google search and get more or less the idea which they are using to sell e-books

My personal opinion is that the page is much too long. I think that people like pages much shorter and find them less tedious to read.

aye it may sell also the bad part is when a person decides not to pay into it and click the X button you get a popup to me thats being a tad pushy parden my expression not meaning to insult but you have to put yourself in others ***** , what they want ,and there reaction.popups are usually very annonying and hense popup stoppers so it is a waist of hard earned time on the webmaster to have a popup or popunder. but site looks great just shorten it up a tad.
