Thread: well well took me 2 months to get site so here it is..

let me know what you think please built it from ground up now to figure out how to do video so i can place my footage of what i capture on it with windows or other video.

Wow, pretty interesting site, and I can see it has taken you a long time.
I like your scheme of things, I like blues and blacks, but I find your nav bar just a tad hard to read in places, perhaps because of the shading of the bar with the blue writing. Navigation seems good throughout except places like album and the lobby, they seem to take you off your site and you are not able to get back to your page with your navigation bar of your site on it. Maybe consider having these open as a separate page or a link back to your home page ... looks very interesting, will be having a longer look .....

Lot of work.
Some things to look out for:
-on broadband here and took a longer time to load than expected.
-pictures in the middle of the page overlap text.
-like LadyEye said above, NavBar is crowded and long.

Some tweaking will get you where you want to be.

Scary music that really sets the tone. I had to turn my sound off just in case there was a scream.
One can see you have put a lot of preparation into your site, but the initial load time is a bit lengthy.
The design and colors really suit the theme

Love the music, very interesting, voted. I think that maybe the font on the nav is the problem, a little difficult to read sometimes. Good luck, will check back.

I'm seeing a banner "showcase sites" in the
middle of the text that needs to be moved or del.

ok i have replaced font on buttons with time roman and navy blue text as for the showcase sites i moved the stuff around a tad to have it to show by itseld but the image that isn't showing on it is from dave he still working on his site when he gets done then image may show.

hope this does the trick i also placed another button to my mall as well i named that site after myself think that was a bad mistake, got idea from J.D. BYRYDER car sales place. i call it my mini walmart hehe.

There is improvement but the font , is it bold? If so maybe that is the reason it jus doesn't look right. Somehow center the text and and all really on the BG. Be back

I have Orb's with faces in them....Love the site, but fix buttons.

I sure wish i can see what the buttons and fonts look like on everyones pc. the buttons the font is navy color,aligned center,bold italic, and times new roman, is that what you all see cause it looks ok to me and checked on wifes pc and nothing seems outta place, please let me know running out of ideas on buttons, color, fonts, etc.

ok hmm think i may have it now i only did buttons on main page until i hear something if it looks better than before then i will change rest of page to same buttons. thanks guys and gals.

oh schajin if you have orbs with faces that are not generated by computer software like cloning etc you can place it on the photo section or if it is too difficult to you on how to do it email me your photo with discription, where it was taken, when, etc and i will post it for ya and and give credit to you for sending it in.

alrighty then well i redone website with different background color fonts and buttons made background to be fixed so that the words and scroll moves instead of background let me know what you all think the other graveyard for those that has seen it or this new one thanks all...oh yeah if any one has a background that moves with page and you don't want it to heres the code place it ininside the body of the html ...<BODY background="yourbackground" bgproperties="fixed">

I have looked at your site a bit but it's late and dark here in good old Blighty, baby is in bed, man is miles away on an event 'and' I live very close to a large old graveyard so forgive me for not looking further tonight but will be back in the daylight when I'm not so jumpy! ok my attempts may fail me what i have done was add fog effect to my site but haveing a weee bit of a time to get it to cover entire page. but i am not giving up can anyone give me input on whether to keep trying or give up on the fog? also my flash banner will stick a bit possibly due to javascript but i cannot see where it would due to seperate programs.

the fog is cool and definitely appropriate, can't give you any tips on how to get it over the entire page, but does it need it over the entire page? The only thing is I am wondering if you could darken up your background so that it could be seen through the fog a little better, know what I mean??

P.S. Where did you get the fog? Can I have some??

yeah i know what ya mean or probably lighten up fog with adobe or something but i am going to let the people i purchased it from worry about light/dark etc i just hope they can get it to cover entire page if not they are gonna refund me my lolly back. so until then i keep tampering it until i am satisfied...as buzz lightyear says" never give up , never surrender"

me too if its free its for me lol but sometimes if you want something to look good it takes a small sacrafice. bought fog for $24.00 and it's good for life as long as i have program and regkey so i won't have to try and find it again. oh i changed bg again but still no good on the fog doing the entire page bummer.

well it definitely was a steal for you at that price, it's a great addition, for me, I only wanted it for one day, lol, for halloween ... so I can live without it ... lol ..... yeah the new pic shows much better through the fog and I can read the writing on the fog too ... but where there is no fog now the writing is hard to read ... lol ... where is the Medium eh!! Good word for you!! lol

alrighty folks had to redo entire site had to make it scroll free in order for fog to work so site is simple but all pages are fog effect except for 2 the equipment and merchandise pages all others are fog i'm satisfied for now long day figureing out that fog thing. input please input lol

hey Jim ... me again ... :) seems your link for the ghosthunter bible and teamspeak is broken .... I noticed you used (looks like) arial font on your contact page, it shows up really well for me ... on the other pages looks like times roman perhaps, doesn't show up as well, maybe if you changed all your font to how it looks on the contact page, viewing the text on those pages will be yet again more visible .... just a suggestion ... it's looking great.

bg 2 stands out the best for me .....

oh yeah and one link the one that says launch teamspeak it works but you have to have teamspeak in order for it to work it is a great chat program free, can chat with anyone that has teamspeaklike anyone from bluevoda if they have ts they can chat without typing mic is required. thats why i offer ts downloads i have my server setup for north america ghost hunters as well as bluevoda.

I like the main one for the fog effect, I really like the site, creepy.

I get the maing bg and then changes to just fog.....on the others I get just fog nothing shows through.

yeah there are 3 pages that dont have the fog effect and that is links to us, equipment, and merchandise due to fog effect won't cover entire page thats why page is without bars, and fog is set to interact if you place or move mouse over page it dims the fog abit but if you move mouse from over it it thickens back up.

checked on wifes pc it shows all pages except what i said that doesnt have it and bg is showing through all of them.

no no not your fault it was mine for not being specific was thinking that maybe someone would figure that out lol but i ain't that bright.
