Well, the page looks nice - but I have no idea who you are, what you do or why I'm there. There is nothing for se's to find you and send people to you - so if you don't need se traffic, that doesn't matter.

There are also no meta tags for who you are - just a couple for Trust Worth Certificates - which really don't make you trust worthy in my mind :) Maybe that certificate is more well-known where you are.

We are not a shop, thats why actually :)

I didn't think anything I said had anything to do with a shop - most websites aren't shops - but usually I can tell what they are or what they do from something on the website - and usually people have websites and want people to be able to find them in the se's if they are in that field.

Your scrolling bar says click here for more information - but isn't clickable, either.

Actually it is clickable, but a hand does not appear, it remains a text cursir, try clicking on it.
I am sorry but what does se mean?

OK - I finally got your page to open - but I usually don't install the active x control for websites - now I got to another very fancy page - again it looks beautiful. But it isn't user friendly or se friendly - and you are building websites? I certainly would want mine to be se friendly. I couldn't get a couple of the areas to work without clicking and waiting - and I guess I'm impatient, cuz I would already be clicking on something else - then would have to close that to go back to try to see the other.

Finally saw the About us blurb. You are very talented, as I said, this is very pretty - but I don't know how useful it is.

Don't get me wrong - I think it's beautiful - but one thing I've learned over my years in business - is no matter what I like or how beautiful something is - I can't forget that it, first and foremost, has to be user friendly to it's core audience.

SE = search engine

If you click on: What we do you'll know what we do. also it is explained who we are in About Us. People can find me by sending me emails, or phoning me, as shown in Contact Us.

oh i see what you mean.. but in what ways can i arrange it?

I'm talking about people finding your website - it will never be found as it is - nothing about it is se friendly. People would have to know who you are and find you directly by using your url. And if you want to sell the products - chances are they'll never make it to those pages. You could optimize those pages for the se's - then they could send traffic directly to them

Thanks for all your help, but i am a student, and at the moment don't have time to arrange it, I will keep everything you told me in mind, in the mean time what do you think about these sites:

Again they are not se friendly - will be a long time before any se's send traffic to the product pages, if ever.

what do I have to do to make them se friendly?

Your flash is very nice, but your services wont sell OFF that page over the internet. If you wanted it as an example of what you can do, ok. Beth is right about the sellability part of it and driving traffic to it. If you had a brick and mortar or another site to actually do your selling, and use this as an example of your flash expertise, then it would work.

As a rule i dont download Active X controls as those are where those nasty viruses LIVE and ruin peoples computers. I only clicked cuz of your association with the form.

I think that your sight is really unique and shows your character to be mysterious and awesome.

I am starting to see your point, but my major disadvantage is I am in form 4, and in Malta we have extremely hard exams in form 5, and for every we've got around 14 subjects and each with a book over 200 pages to study, and we have to start and finish this year, so time isn't on my side, in fact I had to remove most of my advertisements to prevent more clients. I have already rejected 10 other clients this month including 3 major companies, and had to recommend them to other web design companies.
So to change the site at the moment it is quite impossible...

Thanks Mitai Adventures. Also I forgot to mention in Malta, clients go for the best and cheapest web designers and products, thats why I tried to show a bit of what I can do. cause thats what they go after.

No I built it from scratch using macromedia flash and html.

You have done a lot of good work and your site looks nice; now time to do some tweaking and take all of the above into account.
-Consider changing "Celebrating our 5th...." to something alusive to what you do, web designer, fishery, artist, whatever it is. Telling users you are 5 can be interpreted as novice however if you add meat to it, it can be tell users you have being succesful for 5 years.
-Have to be a Formula 1 driver to click on the marquee, and the message you show conflicts with "No special offers this month"
-2 clicks to enter your page is one too many.
-Home page has two logos, with your talent you can make it better.
-Seems you have an image map command in the center of your revolving circle "Special offers" in pale color? Couldn't clcik on it.

Thanks for the suggestions anyway, i'll arrange the flash for only one click by adding a javascript code so that it won't ask for you to click to activate...'
Also I've made the site more se friendly with meta tags.

I've added the script. and also arranged the scrolling text and mae it slower but only in the first page, i'll arrange the other pages when I get some free time.

Now I can't enter at all - click on welcome and it just comes back to it - before I had to click it twice which is why I told you it didn't work at first - And the meta tags are great - but won't help you at all without the pages having text to show what/who you are also. Bill's suggestion to help that is great.

Hello,

Everytime I put my mouse over the buttons there will be a message or title that appears in the centre.

When I put my mouse over the About Us let's say the word About Us will pop up in the middle but right on top of the Welcome which doesnt disapear right after.

How long have you been playing around with Flash?

I've been using flash for 4 years, and HTML for over 6 years.

Priceless beauty - I don't want to steal someone elses thread - but search engine friendly means se's will find you AND, if you've done it right, send traffic your way.

Flash is NOT se friendly - therefore has to be used very carefully and combined with other methods of building.

Chris's site is beautiful - but if he intends it to make money, there is a good chance he'll lose more people than will ever get beyond the home page just because they have no clue what he does/who he is. And the se's can only read the links at the bottom of the page - but can't read some of the interior pages any better.
