    Default Panzoom revisited

    Revamped Panzoom prior to launch.
made the outer border that contains the I-frame resemble a film strip, more with the site theme I think.
And split the video into three films of garden/living areas/bedrooms to make it more interactive and allow for quicker loading time!

Hi Bruce.. the site looks cool... the outer frame design is also very good.

The only thing is it looks a little narrow.. Instead of making the frame wider.. I would suggest reducing the size of the menu items font and bullets.. I'm sure that will make it look more compact and less crowded.

    Thanks Carlos
    What looks too narrow?
The side menu or top menu buttons?

The side menu.. The space given to the menu is perfect.. I just feel the items inside it (menu text items and bullets) are a little too big for that space.. loosen it up a little bit by reducing the size of the font and bullets if you agree with me. You can tell because some of those menu items are touching the border itself... I don't know, but I find a few pixels space on either side of the text gives allot more room and feeling of space than we expect.. it works like magic for me.

    Tweaked side menu buttons
as well as generating faster, clearer video (honeymoon footage - all the same) that gives more control to the viewer!

Nice looking site now. Easy to view and everything in proportion in relation to the page dimensions.

Yep, we need to be a saleman (woman) in everything we do in life to be successful at it. Many people don't understand that - just do it naturally in some areas. So, if you learn the areas you are a natural salesman at, you can then take what you do there and apply in other areas.

Nice job Bruce! The only problem I had was figuring out which panzoom to look at. You had 3 going at once. Then with the text floating over the pictures.....It just seemed a little busy to me. But then again...I'm getting older and my eyes just don't focus quickly anymore. lol

    Congratulations on your wedding!

    Hi David
Should have the video this month, I will upload it (as well as others I can get hold of) for you to access.
Will be sending you a mail today.
    Hello Dream lady
At this stage the three videos together look a little hectic as it's three different areas (hotel where we had our honeymoon), the actual footage is the same general area.
What do you think would look better, a static title above the video or a small title coming in on the video at the bottom instead?
Thank you both, the wedding was great.
    Now the work begins!

"Now the work begins", on the marriage or the website!! lol

Bruce, I like the text flowing over the video footage, but maybe just one video at a time. It's a nice touch. But if you change it, I think the small title coming in on the bottom would be the way to go. Also is there anyway to slow down your video. It seems to go pretty fast. Is this a place that is for sale and rent or both? Also, as a person in the US, it is not real obvious exactly where this property is located.

I look forward to seeing more as you continue your work.

Work. On the site and marketing it. (Very observant, we are)
One video at a time may be something to think about.
Perhaps a clip for each area with text on the side telling the viewer the size of ther area in question, details of the property (rent/sale, area and additional features such as skylights etc.), this wil also make it more interactive and complete with buttons that link to various areas of the property.
The heading would be the area being viewed and would negate the need for text on the clip itself.
The speed of the clip is mainly my fault, when I take the footage I do plan on slowing it down accordingly. This will increase viewing pleasure and enable smaller file sizes at it doesn't break up as easily.

A great site Bruce. I like the brickwork side panels, and the site layout. It's all vey professional
I would really question, however, whether black is the correct background colour, as you start going deeper into the site. For example when you click on a property and it's video footage.
I think black gives the impression of being closed in, and a potential buyer would want a feeling of space, light and expanse.
    What do you feel?

Evening RoydenGood point, the reason I use black is I film with 16:9 (sideways) ratio which I then turn upright. If I use another color other than black there will be black stripes on the sides.I could look into using shapes to make a border around the video to solve this. What do you think would look better:1. stay with the brick theme (perhaps lighter)2. use a material type background3. plain, light color. How's the weather in KZN?Had my honeymoon there about two weeks ago
