While interviewing the band Structural Damage for my Heavy Metal Webzine, we got into convo about their site... well I made a couple of suggestions and next thing you know they were asking me to run their website and build new graphics for it... here it is:

Center? What resolution is your computer if I may ask? Because Mine is 1024x786 on a 15' Laptop LCD and everthing is nice and neat...

God, I wish somehow we could resolve these resolution issues....

Thing about Flash loads... you only have to load it once... and it has a mechanism to load only changes to the flash file if changed... once loaded its cached and surfing through it a second time is much quicker... I'm on cable and its a second or two to load but check some of the load times on big time band TOOL and Manson and such it takes forever but its killer graphics...

It could be my pc, this is a new one as my other crashed. This one is a awful....

Try setting it to 800 a hit the center box. You have a lot of black there to the right. Page properties

May I ask if all the pages seem off? Like the news pages and stuff?

Yes, they all need centered.

I also found it very slow to load and I'm running on 8mb adsl also found it hard to read the writing dark red on black...but fantastic graphics bit scary....

slow loading?.... did the flash loader percent bar start working right away, or did the page just lock up... or did the IE progress bar go slow,

yup still slow to me too flash does that or atleast flash intros.

loaded quickly for me and seems to be centered. agree about red nav on black - maybe they just need to be bold to show up better

Well... personaly I wait for flash intros to load because I want to see them, but for impatient people I added a SKIP INTRO link....

The colors are what the band specified.... Black and Maroon text... It is a little hard to see, unless you have no glare on the puter...

A cool site.. Nice graphics.. Nice Flash but it seems to slow to load here that I am on a wireless LAN..

Site looks great - really suits the band and the image you're trying to get across.
I'm only on AustralianADSL (Slow compared to most of the real world) but it loaded pretty quickly - certainly quick enough.

Good job - maybe I should get you to teach me flash

I love your site sooo much. (Very big heavy metal fan). It actually loads up fast for me. The only thing I will mention, when you click on the links, were they meant to open in different windows? It will get a bit annoying for viewers to have 10 windows open while surfing the site.
Other than that, its great. I love the banner :D

I use a program called Flash Maker Pro, but its really limited program for my speed when I get the money I'm getting Macromedia Flash but its 699 dollars so settled for the other for now...

I'm glad you love it!!! Any page that is not linked back to the site is going to open in a new window... Contray, I find it annoying having to use the back button there are three links that will open in new windows in the main NAV because one is a whole seperate site their Merch and the other two are not linked back... in the links section alll links will open in new windows this way users dont loose track of the main site they're surfing.
