Thread: Constructive Criticism

My website is up and running, although additions will come as I get product. Please give me some good criticism as to how quickly the pages load, ease of navigating, etc. Thanks!

Still waiting for some help on my wholesale application.

Sheila,

You have a pretty good start.

Your text on your buttons needs to go left rather than right. At the right they are cut off. The shield takes up too much valuable real estate, id move it to the bottom of the page or resize it smaller. I didnt read thru your text, that was just a quick view.

-The shield seems out of focus making the text difficult to read.
-The back button is missing from some pages and in others it is way at the bottom, some users will move away before scrolling down. Consider placing it towards the top, along with your email link.
-The home page has a horizontal scroll, make the shield smaller (see Karen's suggestion) and make your page width the same as that of otehr pages.

Agreed to Karen and Bill's observations.

You might try reducing the font size of your Menu buttons also, for a better fit.

You may wish to format your image to the exact size you need and then import it into BV rather than manipulate it upon layout.

I must agree with what everything that has been posted here.
Plus, not just the shield, but everything looks to be a little out of focus. May be just me. Very clever design. Listen to these folks for an even better look!

I agree you have a good start. I would think about centering the names in your nav. bar. Centering you Title on the lady’s page and moveing the pic’s over to make the page 800 with so you can see all you pretty ladies It’s coming along great keep at it. J

lol no vasili there are so many people that knows there stuff and trust me you are amoungst the ones that knows there stuff. believe it or not a lot of my question have been answered by reading your comments or post i would never ignore anyones advise except my wife. :)
