Thread: okie dokie added more pages and a donation box

Well didn't change anything, but, i added a few more pages and photos, added a translation box and a donation box, need feedback please on the donation box whether i should place the black background behind it or leave it be.

I like the clear back gound. but your donation box has part of the font cut off on the right side.

Thank you windameer what is your text setting as? mine is set to medium go to view then look for text size if it isn't on medium then set it then you will see all fonts also if your desktop settings are 800 x 600 change it to 1024 x 768 within your control panel then site will display correctly for my site as well as others.

Jim, I don't change my settings to match your site - nor will anyone else finding your site on the internet :) - you need to make it work from as many settings as possible. But in this case, I don't think those settings are the problem - I believe it might be the browser used - as I like to use firefox and that's where I see it cutting off.

As for the donation box - I had trouble finding it- it doesn't stand out in any way on IE. I don't know if a black background would do it or not, but you could give it a try. However, it is very noticeable in firefox where it has a very blue background.

Thank you bethers after I wrote that I keep forgetting it has to do with ones browser especially with the newer browser. I will place a black background on it due to i have it as transparent.

Firefox must not recognize that transparent background - nor does it now recognize the black background - unless the picture itself still has a transparent background? Because on firefox, the background of that is bright blue! I like it better on IE though. :)

ok figured it out i think, i went in and made it with grey background if firefox can't pick it up, i recommend getting rid of the fox lol j/k

Firefox and IE now show the same color :) - and it makes it stand out on both pages.

well instead of creating an award post figured I'd just post here to keep it simple ...

well as some of you may know my website has won a world wide web award and as of 1-3-07 i have won a Silver award they rated me a 6 out of 10 not bad but i'm the type i want to improve so back to drawing board and not changing background just gonna clean up a wee bit :)
