I have only changed the home page and the presentation page so far - the others are still in the old look. Anyway love somefeedback.

Also any ideas on how to autorespond to my "sign up form" so I can send them my pdf file of the 7 steps?

Looks good Tracy, please center all of your pages and check your link on page "about Tracy" You might want to make your font bold it is kind of hard on the eyes. My old eyes. Good Job

Hi, personally I like the old template, if it was in green. (Shame) But the new site has more of a golf feel to it. It maybe an idea to use the pixresizer or something else to make your images smaller, rather than using the handles on the images. It tends to distort the image quite a bit, & it will bring the KB down a lot.
As for the auto response to the form. I would put up another post & address it to Naval/David/Andy for help. It may help if it was in just an email auto respond, rather than pdf. But the others will let you know on this.

I agree with all statements site looks good though.

Personally, I don't like the grey background for the main part of the page. I like all the green though - very good for golf.

I don't recommend you use all bold text - that sends a mixed message to search engines - as they, like humans, expect bold to mean you are giving extra emphasis on those words. If bold needs to be used to read the text, you might want to consider a different size text, different color or different background - or a combination of all.

I think, though, that Sharon was talking about the navigation links - in which case, I would go ahead and bold those!

The link to "About Tracy" from the home page doesn't work.

I liked the small square with the yellow background on the home page, but wasn't thrilled with the big bright yellow on the presentation page. I'd try for a more subtle yellow. To me, there are too many colors contrasting with each other - and that yellow makes me not even see the lovely green header and pictures - it blinds me.

Now, don't change them if it's just me that has trouble with them!

- typo on the "CONTACT" Navigation button
- on the "presentation" Navigation button put a space or two in front of the P to bring the word into the middle of the nav. bar.
- I like it

there is no link back to first page from presentation page might want to add one.

Thank you all for your great feedback I will get working on it right now. A couple of questions:
1. How do I change the colour of the boxes - when I use the "insert rectangle" it only gives me a few options for colours and doesn't give me an option to tone down that colour.
2. I tried to make the link back from the presentation page just by hovering over the header - I think that works

THe blue template came from the BLue voda template download. THe problem was I could keep the headers and footers all the same if the pages were different in length - they stretched! And I think I like the more golfy look of the new wesite.

How do I rename the pictures as you have suggested? I have them saved as golfbunker and golf lake but don't know how to change it.

I like the feel of your site. My day job is in the golf industry and I can see it appealing to quite a few folks I know.

Hi, I take it you mean the grey & yellow boxes?
The grey box you might find it easier to make this 1 larger box & select send to back.
If you want more options on colour, double click on the box , click the colour 1 drop down then click on custom.
If you want to have a box with shading on colours, tick the gradient effect & play with the controls.
As for the images! You would have to go back to the original image & rename it. Then replace the image on your bv page.
If you do resize the images? Just give them a different name at this stage & replace the ones on that page with your new ones.

I like it much better with a green background - it keeps the feel of the page.

And all the pages need the home link in your navigation!

The green looks a lot better. Don’t forget a home button on all pages.
It may be worth trying a frame around your image with the same colour green as your new panels. Just d/click on the image & look for borders, select about NO: 2 & then your colour.

Time for bed on this side of the planet.

PS. May be a good idea not to put your address on the web site & just the area you are from. Unless it’s a business or shops address.

When I add one more button it extends over the width of my page and I don't want to go wider as it will mean I will have to change everything. Is there a way to make the buttons a bit smaller - I like this particular button as it looks like a golf ball on it!

Well I did not spend a lot of time on the site. To bad the e-book is not active. I don't play golf but from what I saw you address some of the issues that have held me back. Overall seems like a good site.

How about if we make you a button with a real golf ball on it?

I don't know if this is sized properly or if the green is right - but both can be fixed - take a look:

Let me lighten it up - I did it too light first LOL - so redid it and now it's too dark. Then you simply have to upload it into the nav button files - I'll give you a link to the complete directions - after I change the background color a tad.

Do you want the same with yellow like you're using now - for mouse-over?

Ah! That one you will have problems with as the balls have got shadows coming off them. It would take quite a bit of work to get round this. There maybe others that can help with some better software? The simple alternative is to make the background white or put a background image in that is very faint. IE: white with a green fleck. If you look at http://www.collectors-info.com/testing/t5.html the center part has a background image that doesn’t really affect the golf balls. (Very slight grey fleck).

The menu bar is the 2nd one up on the left of BV.

You will have to do a search on Google for that one (Green backgrounds) there are hundreds of freebies out there.
Contact form doubled up? (In pain)? Looked fine to me & no painful sounds coming from the page.

Did you notice that my contact form - on the conact page has doubled up? It's like two forms sitting one over the top of the other. Not sure what to do here.

Hi, you got 2 forms on your page in the code. Is one behind the other or behind a white background panel/image? Try sliding a few things around on the page.

A friend of mine was a pro for a short time years and years ago. Marriage and children changed things. He ended up a pro for a private golf club and then in charge of city golf parks for a large city. He doesn't play as often as he'd like - and isn't as good as he once was. But he has his moments still - and isn't afraid of shots many shy from.
