Thread: Another paranormal site still in progress.

Well as most of you all know i have North America Ghost Hunters now I would like to present another I am working on Legacy Paranormal Research Society beth/sharon it has black background on it sorry.

Hey Jim,

Looks great black and all...Ha ha...I have no problem with black as I use it for Memories of Angels. Some people when using black they don't make the text readable, but you do a fine job.

thank you sharon lol and i also want to give credit were credit is due my thanks to Karen for the crest that she did for me by making it transparent.

The blue seems out of focus or something nice effect but it is too fast and maybe with a slow down it would look better.
As far as I have gotten but I'm sure you'll get it right.

site 2 no flash intro and was made with bluevoda nav buttons not working yet plus waiting on vodahost to give me my free domain so i can use it to get the new site running on its own domain name.

ok on my next project I redone the site by using bluevoda, but, also redid nav buttons...feedback most appreciated good, bad, its all good :) same thing though nav buttons are currently offline.

Oh and Jim... You have a counter of infamy on there. IF people find it.. they can take it two ways. You are a newbie, and youre not worth persuing, or gee hes really getting hits. Personally Id leave it off until you are really famous..lol

Jim, your sites are good with black backgrounds - very fitting for the sites content and you do a good job with them.

I really like the intro. Usually I just skip over them or close out a page but I thought your was really cool and fitting for your topic.

As far as the black backgroud goes, I like it but the white text is a bit harsh for my eyes.....maybe it would be if I didn't spend 16 hours a day in front of a puter!...Anyhow, when I have played with this same color scheme, I found that for myself, if I set the backgroud color as black, I use the softer looking very light grey/silver color that comes standard in BV for my text as the contrast isn't so hard for tired eyes to take against the dark background.

thanks karen the ticker on th one i'm making from bluevoda has been removed. yeah i need to practice more on the photo editor.

thanks beth i'm not too hip on black backgrounds but this was by no choice getting font color is thehardest i think to make it pleaseing yet easy to the eyes, so on blue voda i made the text a soft grey.

thanks motoxxx for the comment on the flash intro i like flash intros but sometimes it can hinder the se's from what i read on se's and flash intros, also on the one you saw on site 1 thats how the text turns out i am unable to change color on that one, but yes ,in bluevoda i can so i am now working with the one on bluevoda i made font a soft grey but the next lighter color would be an off whitish color. like on my original site naghosthunters.com, as for the flash banner i made that myself i purchased mix-fx for that.

ok need a yah or nah i was thinking about placing a live support on the legacy site do you think that would be beneficial? for people who may have questions to click on it to speak to a live paranormal investigator?
