Your site is looking good, ... at first I wondered why your background on your introductory page was tiled, but with being a flooring company a tiled look is cool.

It might be nice to have your address, location and areas you serve on that page, just so it is easy for customer to know where you are at.

The url (link) to the about us page, does not appear to be working, maybe you are waiting to build and publish that page?

Your services page goes to another url ... one without the flooringinstallation.com (it appears to be missing the lt in front of the flooring installation.com)

Also your carpet page leads to the wrong url too ......

contact us page is working, was a tad confusing where to type, the white area is kind of hidden, or not well seen amongst the white and black background you have chosen there ....

I think the white text on the karndean page is a little too lite on the background there ....

It might be a good idea to insert a plain shape, plain color, (maybe brown or white) and then lay all your text on that shape, making the text easier to read ....

It might be a good idea to give your pages a little better titles, for instance, maybe Laminate flooring, carpet etc., etc., for each of your pages

You have a good start, just need to tweak a little, adding some borders here and there would help as well .....

More posters will be here with their thoughts too .....

I hope you don't mind, but I thought I would play around a bit with your site .... so I've done a couple samples (one for your index page, and the other is for the ceilings page, and if you like, you could follow the main template for all of your pages, this allows for the navigation bar to be on all pages, giving your overall appearance of your site some continuity throughout) Don't worry if you do not like, this is just a suggestion.

The pages are set at '800 width x '1000 length, and ticked centered in browser, the font is arial, there is another choice of background, I've reduced the images in size, you can always link each image to a larger image on a page of it's own, a navigation bar on the left side and a further text navigation on the bottom of each page. I've shown the ways in which you can use the shape for a background for the text ...

I suggest your telephone number and address.

Youve made a good start, I know when you first start to build a website you feel the need to put every flash thing and colours you can get on there ..but its a mistake it just makes it look messy and unprofessional,

Ladyeye has given you some great advice, and has shown you how your site could look good and professional...and I agree with all she said, except putting the address on there, I think telephone number and email should surfice..unless your a Company, nice work Lady..looks great...

Stick with the same colours and theme throughout your site, I'm not a great lover of flash stuff, unless its done in a tasteful way it can make a site look tacky.

Keep teaking, you will get there :o)

I agree you have a good start. I would think about puting in a galery for your work and have the picture inlarge for them to see then good.

You are looking good, I would just rename those 3 small images on the right on your main page that are showing up with little red x's, rename those and republish, that will fix that problem ....
