    Default Uss Repose

Ok.. I"m ready for some suggestions, comments, anything that might help the site look better. Have more to add yet but thought I'd get and help so far with what I've got. Mostly I seem to have trouble getting pictures the right size. Seems I spend an hour using PIXresizer over and over on each picture. Thanks. www.ussrepose.net

HAHAH..I LOVE THE INTRO..the voice! Good job!!
One thing, I noticed I had to scroll down, but as I:m scrolling down I don:t see anything..
You can fix that if you right click on your page, pick page properties, then you can adjust your page height.

When I went on your tour, I seen a checkerboard likek photo of a ship. The look is koind of strange I think. Maybe if you just had the ONE ship in the center of the page?

This link is not working http://www.ussrepose.net/eyeofthestorm1.html

You have a lot of links with in your pages. Maybe you can have some kind of directory on your page. If I’m looking quickly looking for information on your site, i can just find the topic in your directory, and wham! I’m there. Now it’s a little difficult. I’d say just make on more page and call it Index or something like that.
I didn’t go through every page, but I did look at a few, so not too bad. Just make sure you index and make sure YOUR LINKS work!

By the way, I have a bunch of WW1 original photos…and idea what I can do with them? I have about 30.

    Hi Tom,

Love the message from King Neptune hahaha ... I dont think it matters to much that your site is a bit hickledy pickledy, its very interesting and informative and I love the fun bits that pop up every now and again...I think the fun in your site is finding them lol ...great pictures to ...I bet you have a few storys to tell eh? ;o).....

Would be nice to hear some of them throughout the site maybe linked to a picture or two?

Might be an idea to put your "underway" navigation at the top and the bottom of your pages ...great website Tom ...well done.

    Hey Tom,

you've made a good start - well done! Just keep going and you can sort out things... hell, I've still got a ways to go on my site!! :-

Live, re your qu. about WW1 pics, the first thought that I got was, have you tried the History Channel? Depending on how good the pics are, ie rare or unusual. There might be some interest there or with history buffs or thereabouts. There was also a movie recently made on WWI - the current James Bond (Daniel Craig) played a tough scouse (sp?) sergeant (Manchester/Liverpool - maybe north england, couldnt place the accent proper like, lol). The movie dealt with the buildup to the battle of the Somme - most brit soldiers ever killed in one engagement - 68 000 or something catastrophic - so there is interest - just have to find it :-

    Hope this helps,

    cheers
