Thread: My First Site! Valued Opinions Needed

I have made my first website: www.bonumkennels.com

Dont laugh, its my first site and im only 15!!lol

I really like your site. That's very impressive for a 15 year old. Think about how great you will be when you are 16! Wow. Look out, world, here comes Vodafreak!

A couple of suggestions that could take it up a notch, uh?

Front Page
1. Your front page is loading slowly for me. You have too many picturesIt could be my connection. Anybody else?

2. Instead of the pics opening into a new window, maybe you should have them in a galery (one each, positioned the same way you have it), so that they pop up when they pics are clicked on.

All Other Pages - really like them. Couple of things:

The end quote in your slogan is on another line on your Welcome page. This happens when the text book is too tight around the words. Try stretching the box a little to free up the words and I don't this should continue to happen.

2. Center your pages in the browser.

Once again, fantastic job. All of your hard work has truely paid off. Way to Go!

I had to laugh, but not at you, I just love the pics....................All those puppies....wow.

For your first attempt you have done very well.....I bet we see some more from you in the future.

Vodafreak, to put them in a gallery,
- Go to Insert, Extra, then Photo Gallery.

- An image outline is going to show up on your page. Double click to go to the Photo Galleries Properties

- click Add and choose the pic of your choice,
columns: 1
alignment: center
padding: 0
spacing: 0
target: open in popup window

size the pic how you like and you're off. to save you time, just copy and paste the same pic for the other pics and double click to add those pictures so you don't have the redo the specs.

PS: I think David was laughing because your dogs are very cute. I must admit I couldn't help it either.

Very good Voda - a great start you have a future in web building, the messages and the information concerning the kennels come across very clearly. Keep it up good work>> wish I could do that when I was youre age!!!!

on your first page, before you enter the site, you have added the pitctures as gallery. I dont know how you managed it, but when you click on them, the gallery window opens up smaller than the "thumbnail" lol i think this defeats the whole purpose of making them clickable.

Your site looks good though.

It's happening with me too.

Uuum, ok. thats weird. I think it is because I resized them, and it is shown at the size it looks best in... but I dont know, anyway thanx for the time you took to view the website!!

Great site. Only thing I noticed that in Bulldogs, breed standard the overheating and grooming buttons didn't work.
