Very clean and easy to use - I like lots.

A couple things I might suggest - is to make each of the icons next to the software names also clickable to that name (I tried clicking there first :) )

Also, I looked at some of the software, and I wouldn't click to download without knowing whose software it is - for example, you have freefind there - but nowhere do you say it is freefind. I think that's important to do. Same with statcounter.

Just a suggestion. You've done good!

Hi David looks real nice & easy to use. Couple of the top banners are a bit fuzzy, but otherwise great. Which software are you using? As this one seems to work quite fast in comparison to some I have used before.

I have downloaded and tried ALL these programs and you are always taken to a home page where you then make the decision after reading more about the software, but I will alter the first descriptions as you have suggested.

Hi Chris, glad you like it......if you have any useful software to add for our voda family, I am sure that it will be well used.

This site is based around a database and php scripts so yes, it is fairly quick as you have noticed.

I am hoping that more and more people will add their favorites, free or otherwise........Thanks for your comments Chris.

You're welcome - as I said - I'm impressed. I really was afraid to look - cuz it seems people are doing these sites and cluttering them up - but yours is so clean and easy to navigate and find things - I think this one could do very well for you.

I went to visit and thought the site was clean and easy to use. The only thing I noticed was that in the categories your five star rating seemed a little bit scrunched. All else looks very good.

One thing I might suggest is giving some information about the newsletter at the location of signup. Also, old eyes like mine had trouble seeing the very small print in the text area when signing up for the newsletter. I needed to make sure my email address was correct.

WOW looks great. I really like the layout and color scheme. Looks clean as a whistle. Only thing I would have liked better is a mouseover effect on your links to be that jazzy green color you have in your headers. That's completely a personal thing though, it was a little hard to see which link i was on because the print is small. Its not too small, just would have liked a green over effect to make it a little clearer in all that black text. But it's still a great site.

Thanks for your nice comments, I always use BV, and in this case I started with BV and then switched into using a database, PHP and a little Java just to see how far I could get.

I am still learning, so any mistakes are ALL mine...............

That metatag tells googlebot to index everything, and to follow all links.

I thought it did that unless you specified otherwise in robot.txt

I hardly use robot.txt, its easier for me to use metatags.............but yes, they both achieve the same thing.

Nice job. I thought maybe u used soho.
How do you incoporate that "googlebot " command in bv and can more commands like this be incoporated. I noticed on http://www.bluevoda.com/ they have few commands along that line. I just don't know how that could be done in BV.

There are quite a few different metatags that can be used.

Just do a ggogle search and you will be surprised.

You can also learn how and where to place them....................

David, my friend, you've done an excellent job with this.

Ditto to everything above, people can learn a lot from the simplicity of this site. People want easy to navigate sites that instantly tell them what there use is.

i.e.
log in, log out, register, auto emails, different form scripts, send to friends, and much much more..............

Blimey loads of work then. I'll look into uploading software to your site once i've got mine finished and we'll see if we can't trade some traffic.

If you're interested i would be interested in exchanging links with you as i reckon your site could be a good source of resources.

Hey David: Was in there looking around again today. I noticed that your lists on the left and the right are not left justified. It appears you have a space in the beginning of some of the lines of text. Anyway you can line those up evenly? Just a small issue, but it did stand out to me this time in. Looks Great!!

Chris, thanks for the heads up about the links. It was a case of adding the html:// instead of stripping it..............well spotted.

And just for that, I have increased the font sizes as requested.

I cannot see any problem with that final link Chris, is anyone else seing anything amiss??

No David, I don't see anything wrong with the right side of the template on that page that Chris is talking about. Looks fine to me.

Hi David, that’s a bit easier on the eyes with the text. On the page looking odd, it maybe a browser thing as its fine in IE, but in my fire fox it shows up like the image below.

Re the text alighnment, I have indented the first line by 1 character to make the individual item stand out a little more..........will review again in light of your comment.
