In your zeal to impress the seo´s I think that you have overdone the keywords bit and your page could be taken as spamming.......

You will need to do something with your title to really get noticed.

here a quick look at your seo stats:

    Meta tags analysis.
Title: Title relevancy to page content is terrible.
The Title relevancy to page content is 0%.

Description: Description meta tag contains no errors.
    This tag contains 185 characters.

Description relevancy to page content is excellent.
The Description relevancy to page content is 100%.

Keywords: This tag contains too many keywords.
This tag contains 28 keywords. This is too many for what we would consider a 'robot friendly' web page. The maximum number of keywords we recommend for this tag is 20.

Keyword relevancy to page content is excellent.
The keywords relevancy to page content is 100%.

Robots: Found no robots meta tag.
This tag is not really required but can help spiders to index the web page.
Author: The Author meta tag contains no errors.
    This tag contains 16 characters.

    hi
I think the owrk they do looks great but the page is so confusing and took a while to find the links, also the same as the previous about having all your keyword in black at the bottom. too much information on the front page and led to me loosing the script as i was reading becuase there was to much of it and became distracting. make it a little bit cleaner. as you have a good product there .but at the moment i do not think that it shows that to it's best advantage
    regards

I would have to agree that there is too much going on for me here and I would like to see it simplified. I honestly did not know where to start. I like to hit upon a site, know what its about and get straight down to information. People who start out seem to sometimes put too much on, like they are scared to miss anything out, this can be off-putting to visitors and they may decided to move to another site.

I also agree that you have stuffed the bottom of the page with keywords, now I am not an seo expert, but it does not look good form to do this and the search engines may take exception.

The whole site look is good though saying that and these are just my opinions. Some of the inner pages are fine also, but for me the home page is far over done and just seems to have been put together to keep the search engines happy, which can have the opposite effect.

Hmmm. the title of your question is "Would you buy a painting from these guys?'.. and I have to say, my answer would be no, for some of the same reasons above.
The home page has the 'feeling' of spam, or a scam of some sort. The over abundence of stated keywords, on the side and on the bottom makes it feel to me like you are just trying to get over on someone, just looks like a million other schemes I am spammed with again and again.

Most people who do not make web pages have no idea what a keyword is, or why you would list all that stuff in the first place, so it just comes off as overkill, or some kind of way to get you to get my money.

Frankly I would be hesitant to send you any money, or really even to respond with a question for fear of getting hit with more spam. It just doesn't 'feel' professional or trustworthy at all, to me.

To me the page is way too busy, too full of information completely irrelevent to actually purchasing your product.

I would try to find a way to make it more user friendly for your actual customers, which is to say:
    1. less busy
    2. less filled with facts having to do with website 'scores' and more with information about the beauty, affordablilty, convenience and quality of your product, which I am assuming is what you want the website to accomplish.
    3. more about your product, and less about the site itself

I hope I have not offended you with this assessment. I like the idea of your product. But you did ask for commentary, and this is my opinion. I could me way in the minority here.

Good luck with your site, and your product.

I almost forgot. On the page where you have samples. It would be cool if you did maybe a rollover effect so that you sould see the photo, and then when you rolled over with the mouse you could see the portrait or painting - you know, a 'before'; and 'after' kind of thing.
This would be a really clear example of your work, and could be quite compelling.
The rollover tool in BV makes this really easy.
    Again, good luck.

I would have to agree with already been said, but i would also use the hame page to peek the interest, and move all the pricing and that to another page, like the order page. The work they do is really good but it isn't shoen off enough on the home page.
    Good luck.

I appreciate all you comments. Basically the front page hassle has to get more simple. I will get rid of the bottom keyword settings but I did check out "competition" there and I merely planning to make little bit more than they:) Since they are highly ranked and I did check out their SEO as well...
I hate to get rid of the top ones since they bring the traffic. Just to make it look sweet - no deal, but I'll work on getting it smarter looking. All the samples are on the samples pages and point was not to show everything in one place that people would dig deeper. Also prices are there to catch the eye quickly if you change traffic. If you don't have a hook and bate, there goes the catch...
We'll just that you know. I'm taking care of the bacground of this business and you can bet that their work is exactly as advertised and product is delivered as promised. Oh and yeah that is a brilliant idea before after thing. I just need to check that with the guys...

Trust me they will have done a lot more than stuff their page with keywords to get listed high. Also there is no point getting visitors if when they get there they don't know what the site is about or they don't trust to buy from there.

    Good luck with your changes.

A bit too much going on for my liking, it looks like you're trying to tell your visitors everything about your site on your front page. Although I can understand your principles i would recommend highly against it as all you get is a jumpbled mass of words and pictures which people take one look at and think, "oh my god" and then go else where. As suggested before, move the pricing and samples to another page within your site.

The main aim of the homepage is to give your visitor a quick background of what you do and what you offer in a nice simple way. Think of it as if you were buying a book. You look at the short description on the back of the book to get a quick idea of wether you think you'd like the book or not.

With a little tweaking and moving content around, you could have a good site which may in the long term make you some money.

The impression of the home page is cheap and nasty. Try and make it clean and stylish. This is really, really important for your product. Why would anyone buy a painting for $100s' from a site that cannot even make a web page look good. You do not need all the info you have there: that can be put in your other pages. Your home page must stop people in their tracks. It has to say we do paintings from photos and boy they are good. What would you rather stop and look at: the shop window of a top department store designed by a really good window dresser, or a market stall with a jumble of disparate goods with the trader shouting his head off about how wonderful his tatty goods are? As it stands this site will not attract people in.
