Hello Everyone,

Thank you all very much.
It looked nice and clean. Perhaps I would have used a different link color or overeffect on the links to compliment the colors of the site rather than the standard blue hyperlink color, but it works fine.
Hi Alex,
I did think of that for some of the links, but not all. I may go back and change to a less obtrusive color.
Thank you for looking.
Yeah, it's all about personal preference. I guess it's the Martha Stewart in me or somethin. lol.
Hey Ace
I like your site, nice and clean and easy to navigate.
Do you advertise locally or are you intending to sell to the world market. If so I think you should add more content about your products with specific keywords to help in Search Engine Ranking. But you probably already know about all that as you have other sites.
Great site, good luck.

Hi Phil.C,
I do not advertise locally. I only have the website. At this time I only sell for the U.S. markets, but as soon as I can figure out the shipping for oversease markets in cart manager I will do that.
I am working on getting more content for the products in the category boxes, but it will take time.
Thanks for your comments I do appreciate them.
Hi Ted;
You have really put alot of work into this one! it looks real good ( the food also).LOL I grew up in Seattle, and have live in Alaska, so you have hit a soft spot for me. One little thing I noticed, on your about us page, the name (Edible) is spelled wrong. Now I sound like Bill, Check your spelling and check it again.LOL Good luck and keep selling.

Hey there, looking good. I would recommend you reduce your page width down to 800 so that it will fit on all screen resolutions.
The few people who are still on this size monitor have to scroll right to see the whole of your page content and it can be really annoying, so much so that i usually leave a website like this quite soon.
Apart from that, the colours are great, navigation is real easy to use and you've done an excellent job all round.
keep up the good work

Thank you for the reviews.
Mike--My wife and I lived in the Seattle area for approximately 10 years before we moved. I did fix the spelling on the About Us page.
Mook--Thank you very much. I was going on the page size Beth recommends and what she uses on her sites. I really can't reduce the width because the header is set as are the tables.
I do appreciate you both taking the time to look.
Hi Ace, How on earth did you get it looking so good with all those html errors ??.............lol
Have you looked at your souce code lately??
Can you tell me which store your using and how does one BUY something ??
I can see that you have put in a lot of hard work and its looking good.
Hi David,
Now you REALLY have my attention. I did not look at the source code and was not aware that there were a lot of html errors in the edible cafe store. I know it is not a problem to buy things in two of the stores. I am most concerned with the edible cafe store. I was unaware that one could not buy something in that store. I have used cart manager and placed the add to cart button on the product pages. I may have to go back and put it in the category pages also.
Thanks for the good comments. Could you elaborate a little more on the "source code" situation please.
Well done, lovely site. I do agree with the other comments made about the colours, but you are dealing with that. When you figure out how to ship your caviar to South Africa, be in touch. I now leave you to go to the fridge for some Norwegian Salmon, thanks to you making me hungry.
Cheers and good luck
Ted
Looks like you tried to do a meta tag and got this
335Warning: <tmarlett> attribute name "comcast.net?subject" (value="customerservice"") is invalid335Error: <tmarlett> is not recognized
I got that off sitereportcard.com.
The rest are just syntax errors.
Also where you have the home etc, contact us text links? The contact us goes below your margin there on every page that I looked at, might want to move that up just a bit while yer doing.. but other than that its looking pretty good..

Yeah
Meta tags cant go anywhere but in the head tags, dont put them in any divisions.
David? Is some that due to the php header, navigation, etc? I think it is to some extent, because you have to do them as includes and they each have their own body tags etc.

Hi InfoAds,
Thank you for your kind comments. I do appreciate them. I will be working on how to send the products overseas.
Hello Karen,
I don't know how the email address got into the meta tags when I just put it on the page. Seems something is not quite right. I will also move the email contact us up a bit.
Thank you very much for looking.
I do know enough to not put meta tags anywhere but in the Head section. I don't know how thos got into the other section. I didn't do it. I will see what I can do.
Hi David,
My wife did some marketing for the site and got an email back with similar information. I don't know how that happened. I just put the meta tags in the space on the page properties where they were supposed to go.
I could take them out, but will that do away with the double header? I'm not sure how to go about this.
I did work hard on getting the site to look good. Now I have all the source code problems that I know should not be there. All the code I used from FP I cleaned up before I put it on the site. I really don't know how the double header came into play. From what I understand the SE's won't like to see it that way.
I am concerned about that.
I am going to put a "buy now" text saying on the categories if I can figure out how to do it.
Thank you very much for your review. If you can think of any way to get rid of the double header please let me know.
Ted,
Im not sure. I dont have alot of time right now, I have kids crawling everywhere last two days. I have all three grandkids and one is too little for school yet. I feel sorry for the school. Hes gonna be something else to get to sit in one spot for more than 5 minutes. I never had any quiet or still kids.. wouldnt know what to do with one.
Ill try looking this weekend when I have time to concentrate and look at your coding. Maybe you could just float the second header in bv if its an image over the top instead of two headers.

Hi Ace,
Very nice and yummy store...lol. I agree with the above comemnts and I really did not notice anything that was off. I do agree though that it would be nice to make the page size a bit smaller but I understand your dilemma. GOOD JOB and good luck with the store.

Karen,
Thanks,
We are through with the kids stage of our lives. Grandkids live hours away so we don't have them.
I'm still looking to see what went wrong.
One question: when I went into the CP I noticed that I may have sent some files to the file management area instead of the folder for the current site in question. Do you think any of them would affect this store? Does'nt seem so to me if they are not in the correct folder. Anyway, I am thinking about deleting all the files pertaining to this store that are not in the store folder and see if that may help.
My header is an image. I don't know how this woul affect the store source code unless I put a header there and did not delete the header when I sent the one I am using to the store file. I will go look and see.
Beezz,
Thank you for the kind words. As you know, everything is a work in progress.
Karen,
I took one of the header gifs out and it did not affect the source code at all. I also looked at other pages and the double head is in all of them. I am really now wondering if the double head is coming from the php menu. Do you think this is a possibility?
Yes Ted.. Very good possibility as I mentioned before. Its one of the problems using the php includes in bv for templates. Most like is where its coming from because each include is its own page, and I dont use it so I dont know how to tell you to take it out. Try catching Beth with that one.. or um.. Naval!
I dont think im ever gonna be thru with kids!.. Unless I MOVE and dont tell them where I am!

Karen,
Thanks again for your response. I will go the the php thread and ask Naval.
As for the kids. You would have to move to a remote location, preferably at the top of a mountain, not have electricity, phone, or a computer. And, of course, no mail service. It would be disgusting according to todays standards. But with the technical know-how of being able to find anyone on the internet that would be the only way to "get lost" and have nobody be able to find you. I don't think it would be worth the effort. Family always have a way of sniffing out where you are.
