I just finished building my first website and I would really appreciate it if you could check it out and give me some comments and criticisms.

Can’t argue with this one. Real nice Job. The only thing I might of changed is the mouse over image on the buttons. Feel like these are for white backgrounds.
But besides that it looks nice & professional.

I love the site.

The only thing I was thinking is that your audiance is teenagers.
It just seems a little bit to stuffy and buisness man like.

I am afraid for a teenage site, it is bit dry and sterile. Also, everybody on Earth now has Google ads on their websites, which I think just degrading the site + financially equalls to zero for you.

Sorry if I sounded harsh. That was not my intention, just sobering you up.

I am working on making it more visually appealing. I don't think the google ads are always degrading the site. Some of my favorite sites use them on every page, tastefully, and they are still my favorite. But I know you can overdo it.

What do you think is dry and sterile, the writing or the look of the site?

The colours u r using r cold and the whole look is more for a corporation, than for a teenage website.

On Google ads: it brings real money ONLY to websites with 10 000 visitors or more per day. So on your page it is irrelevant. At the same time, it is pushing your website to the mainstream of cash desperate websites. Do not be one of them. They NEVER see any real money.

Sorry, I am not fariy tale-ing u, but quicker u r on the real ground of internet marketing quicker u make some real cash. In 2-3 years from now.
U need time. Just like all businesses.
