Thread: My new site

Hello All

I'm now moving in a new direction and have changed sites. Could someone have a look and comment on the loading speed etc and general outlay. It would be appreciated. www.2thepowerof3.com

Hi Phil! Very interesting. The site loaded quickly and the video played without a hitch! I like the layout of your site. It is not so much information that you don't dare read it all, but it is just enough to make someone interested in registering...so overall....I think it is fine What happened to your golf site. Is it still up and running?

I decided to change directions and saw this opportunity so I have removed my golf site. Golf is my number one passion and I have been devoting my time to helping out with juniors at my sons club. Thats the beauty of Blue Voda though being able to change at a moments notice.

It's been a busy day and I've completed numerous pages now.

Could someone please let me know if the menu bar and navigation of the site is working okay in their browsers.

I have IE7, and it loads fast and everything looks good.
I tested I think all your buttons and they all worked fine.

Couple things:

-On your home page, the bottom arrow after click here points to nothing. (I just noticed the same thing on other pages, may be waiting til the site goes live?)
-In this sentence, the highlighted word looks irrelevent.
"Skill-based games are named accordingly because the outcome of each competition is based on the players’ ability and performance, with any elements of luck either eliminated."
- On your payplan page, the highlighted word should be has"uVme have created a powerful, unique business with which you can earn money in several different ways."
- I was thinking that whenever you write "uVme" you might want to have it bolded or bolded in another color, just one size larger than the normal text so it stands out.. not sure how that would look, but think it might serve to reinforce the name.

There you go - that's the stuff I saw.
NIce site, is very easy to navigate, loads right fast, and is clear and easy to see and read. Nice job, as usual..

Interesting concept. I must admit I was intrigued. Home page is good certainly the right style for your market. However a couple of points from my perception.
About me page. I am not sure about the australian spelling but I believe truly is spelt as truly and not truley.

The pay plan box I thought wasn't as good as your other pages. The black was too black and for me the white boxes didn't do your skills justice. I do need to qualify that with saying that I am not an online gamer so therefore am perhaps not the market you are trying to reach!

Site map privacy links and the vodahost box was a bit squished together.

But on the whole it was excellant.

I'll take your ideas onboard. Web design is always about improving your site and any comments are great. The spelling mistake!!!! well thats just a spelling mistake(he,he). Not to sure what you mean by the black and white boxes but I'll check it out.

But just to clarify I understand you are not in the gaming market but any post I make here in VH is not to target my market. I truely value the expertise in Vodahost and only post to seek advice. This Forum is one of the best I have found to avoid spammers and I think we are truly lucky in that aspect.

I am not sure about the black now as I can't find it. I think it must be my computer today. This morning when I looked there was a big black box with white boxes and re flashing arrows. I can't find it now!

I have IE7 and Firefox. Although at the moment I am having problems seeing my site in either browser in its full glory (hopefully its glorious) so I am probably not the right person to look at websites with a critical eye!
