Thread: Sports web-site Your views please

Just made this site and would welcome your views.
Although a lot of the news is due for updating. The website aim is to promote sport in Cyprus.
Each Month there will be new articles informing visitors to Cyprus the different sports available on the island.
Sports news in Cyprus will be updated as it becomes available.
Some of the links are not yet populated but will be very soon.

Hi Bernie,

Things to consider:

• centre align pages
• making your own nav buttons as you have overlapping text (changing the mouse-over button from original bv button)
• adding keyword rich content (text) to home page as you presently only have a keyword list, which might be considered 'keyword spam'

You may wish to consider using the Logomaker in Blue Voda to make a single transparent (and larger) "logo" rather than have 2 in your header as is now. It would help to make it not only more prominent, but would also help to clean up the page a bit as well.

Another suggestion, regarding the map+icons in the top right: did you ever consider using transparent round "shapes" to lay on top of/over the different icons and then hyperlinking those invisible shapes to the various pages that they correspond to, to add another visual element of site navigation? (For example, if you clicked on the "Swimming" icon, it would take you to the Swimming page)

* I agree about removing the key word stack you have placed in your footer area....unecessary (your valid page links do just fine) and may indeed cause incidence for Search Engines to penalize you after deeming such as a ruse or "gimmick" for creating relevance as opposed to more conforming builds to the Perfect page model.

Hi, you have some great images on the front page, but would be nice if reduced the size would be best using some software instead of the image handles to eliminate the fuzziness. Will also let the page load more quickly.

you are doing well ... ditto to the above advice ... I also notice there is a stray text menu at the bottom of your home page ... this is what is making it longer than it should be ...
