Thread: Can You give me thoughts views on my new website

You've done a really nice job. To build confidence I would suggest an "About Us" page explaining who, what and where you are as well as your company philosphy. I am always leary doing business with someone that I cannot research or at least know a little about them.

Also- I feel that your logo detracts from the site. I would consider trying something new. Everything appears square on your site. Can you see that?

Other than that, I like the simplicity of the site.

your site is really cool!

the logo is a little blue in your face...it would be better to make it a little less bright, and your sail on right hand side of logo needs to move out a bit so it looks the same as the sail on the other side!

apart from that its really good. :)

Yeah I would have to agree with the people here. I think that the logo or banner is not giving the website a professional appearance...

Interesting items though. I did not know there was special things for boating other then life vests.

Hi, you’re off to a good start. But the site feels like it needs some structure in having some sort of common theme through out the pages. IE: Some pages have menus missing & others have the menus in different places, so you end up a little lost.
Usually! Go for the top menu to get to an area of a site & a side menu to guide you through a particular area. So an area might be clothes at the top menu & categorized to Jackets/Gloves/Boots/ in a side menu.

PS. Ditto on the logo. BV’s logo maker will do a real nice job.

I was piddling in MS Paint and made the following. Just gives you an idea about breaking out of pictures and blocks.



It is not transparent- so works best with your white background.
