Thread: The website is DONE!!! What ya' think?

I'm finally done with the website for my SIL's business.. I'm kicking myself for wasting my time (and $$) with "another" place. I did in 2 days what I was trying to do for over a month. It only took 2 days bc I have 3 kids;).
well, ok.. check it out.. tell me what you think.

I still have to do the meta tags, analytics, and submit to search engines, but the hard part is DONE!

Nice ,easay on the eyes site, set out is good.

One thing, it would look much better if you
centered the page, at the moment it is hard
up on the left of screen.

Cracking site.. looks really good and loads really well.

Here are my observations

1.As Barry mentioned earlier, it would look better centered.
2.The pages need titles, but I think you know that anyway.
3.On some of your adverts the text is not fitting the box correctly. Try leaving the price font size as is but reduce the font size of the car name etc.
4.On the Specials page, try 'justifying' the text. (Squaring it off might make it look neater)
5. On the 'Terms of Sale' Page, try justifying the text here also.

These are just little tweaks, to a great job you've already done.

I agree with Darren, some fine tuning and tweeking... I would get an
"about us" and "contact us" menu bar and talk about yourself to get the customers confidence. Be easy to reach, if a potential customer
has a question about a vehicle.

Buying cars as you know is a very emotional purchase, you need to put them as ease. They need to get to know you and feel confident about doing such a large finanical transaction. If you have any satisfied customers, post a testimonials page to increase consumer confidence..

Is there a trick to centering the page?

there is a tutorial "how to set up page properties" which deals with page naming, backgrounds, seo optimization and centering. Here is the link:

Right CLICK on the page to bring up the Properties. In the box there's
is an option to center page in the browser..slect it. Remember, you will need to do this to ALL of your posted pages.

I think everyone is doing really well. I find that font types need to compliment each other and needs to remain consistent. I have some pages with no titles and need to research again how to do that. Also, my home link on my pages will not return me to the index page although it it directed to the index.html page. I am not sure why its not working.

Kacie .... if you seek input from others, you need to create your own thread for review of your website alone.

What you are doing here is considered "interrupting" and/or "hijacking" a thread specifically created for review of shelz' website, and is very bad forum decorum to impose upon your peers......
