Thread: I hope I'v made some better choices

Hi everyone, I'v been bumping my way around and have gotten some good advice from many of you about the problems with my site. Please check it out again and let me know if it has improved. www.peopleherd.com

Site looks great

Only 3 things, one: you need a space between
"Entertainment Social"

two: I had to search around for the link
to go to rest of site,wasn't really sure where I had to
go to leave the main page, I would make that a bit more
obvious, but hey, maybe thats just me.

three: are the words Entertainment,Social,Information and Business
on your main page meant to be links? If so they do not work
Apart from that I liked it very much

The Hulu sitwe worked ok but vides not available here in Australia

Thanks for the input. The 4 catagories on the index page arent links, but probably should be. I see your point about better direction on getting off the index page. Again, I appreciate the input. I'm not getting alot of it ( cant figure why but) what I do get is valuable and I try to use it. I will get back to work at it asap. Have a great holiday everyone.

the site looks great and the "ENTER" button
is really good, I noticed it immediately

Couple more things I noticed

The word neighbor is incorrectly spelt
and your Windows Media Player box is overlapping
the text above it.

But apart from that the site looks fantastic, very good work

hi you are off to a good start ... maybe consider centring your pages in the browser and moving the video to the bottom of the page so it is not so wide ... and I am not really sure what the point is of the big black blank space on the page when I click enter?

it also be nice to know what the point of the website is rather than guessing ... keep p the good work ...

Sorry about not responding to any replies. I have tried to keep chipping away at this undertaking I'v started. It's alot of fun but also nerve racking. I'm not sure about the big empty space you saw after you hit enter? I'll look into it, but there should be something there. I'v noticed that a few times I'v clicked into my movies link and the screen that displays the previews of new movies in the upper portion of my screen, doesnt always work quite right.Maybe my computer is bogged down with too many open programs running , causing it to load slowly?

My page looks fine and is previewing fine in my builder and file manager, but when I log in and look with browser, it shows ( index_of / ) I don't understand and don't know what to do.www.peopleherd.com
