Thread: First attempt!!

Hello everyone,
I would be grateful if you could please have a look at my website, it was produced using a flash template for the intro and the site.
Its not quite finished yet and I have gallerys and a few other bits and bobs to add.
I have never used flash and never had any experience of website design or building before the last couple of weeks.
I would apprecaite any feedback to help me improve on it!!

I normally cringe when I enter a site that uses music, let alone flash - but yours suits the subject perfectly. I think you did an amazing job!

Not able to get in!

Hi, good style for the sites content.
Site seems to be off center of the page & feels like it all wants to come over to the left & up a touch. Took a wile to load.

well done ... my only negative comment is it took a while to load and I nearly gave up and closed the site ... I have superfast cable broadband ...

Getting slicker all the time!

Much better now that the music is more like an "intro" rather than a constant element. And, your balance (from everything to color themes and modularization) is nice and tight.

Nice site but how do I navigate back to home page if I wanted to? :)

Nice graphics but oh so slow to load. I also found it very hard to read on a Phillips 15" CRT monitor.

Thankyou all so much to everyone for your valuable feed back and advice. To navigate back to the homepage all you need to do is click on the title. I have wondered if any one ever found this obvious or not and tried to think of different ways of laying the whole thing out. After much thought and the amount of work it would take I have decided not to bother......for the moment

Took a while to load the flash intro and I almost closed the site too. I am also on a very high speed connection. Gool gtraphics at the top of the page though!

Wondering where you got the flash template from?

Does the template include all the little animation components like the sound levels etc. that appear when you mouse over the pictures?

when I made my post, a visitor was not able to click on the logo for home...might have been the intent, but it wasn't working at that time...nice to see you changed that...

I got the template from www.templatemonster.com and took it from there, all little animations are included but the finished article did need a fair bit of tweeking to put in all my own photos etc.
I had never used flash nor had any experience with creating a website before and worked my way through using a couple of books and more helpful than anything else the voda talk forum!!
