Hi, looking good. Couple of things that maybe better a different way.
Top menu needs a bit of spacing.
White writing on yellow background is not easy to read. (I might be just getting old)

    Good luck.

    Hi Kym
    Nice site, of course.
I agree with the white on yellow; really hard to read. The yellow itself itself feels like a really harsh contrast to the blue - maybe making it a slightly milder yellow would be easier to look at. For me it is pretty distracting fromthe site in general.

Also agree with Chris about the spacing of the menu links. As close together as they are it is hard to immediately see that they are links, as opposed to a list of words..

I didn't look at the whole site yet, Kym, but a comment on the training page - I love the training tips, they are great. How about putting some headlines for each kind of tip - like maybe 'soothing your dog's fears' or 'dog's favorite things', something like that. You could also use these as h2 tags...
    just a thought

    good work, Kym!

thanks Chris, Liz and jkm ... I have been worrying about the yellow and played for hours trying to get a better colour combination .... these are our club colours .... but I think I have a few ideas left ... lol ..

because I used the menu bar at the top I can't work out how to get the extra spacing ... I might change it to a text menu ...

love the idea Liz ... don't know why I didn't think of that ... lol ...

I'll keep working on it ...
