Thread: made some changes as suggested - what do you think?

hi guys, my revamped dj website, please let me know your views,and maybe where i should change things so as to improve the site.

Your form can be submitted without being filled. why don't you validate the fields?

I would prefer that you replace the background with a nice pastel soothing color for millions of people with glasses and contact lenses.

ok i've had a look at the "validating" thingy. i'm new at this, please advise on what i should do?

click right on edit box > properties > validate > tick error message > write something in error message for name: Please fill in your name or Please fill in your .... (according to your field)
And for e mail field choose email address from data type.

Pastel colors are the lighter shades of all the colors
They are cool, comfortable and soothing to the eyes.
these colors help to induce visitors to your site to stay
a little longer.

I agree with the changing of the background comments... the black is too contrasting with the blue, a lighter color with dark writing... and I keep wanting to move the page down 'cos it looks like it's up too high. If you've got a space at the bottom of the page, leave one at the top too. Love the pics of the album covers, very very smart, show's you've got a sense of humor! And the way the photo's come out looks great too. The bouncy introduction offer is effective... how did you do that?

Looks good, the black is abit imposing. I didn't get any music on the music page, that may be on my end. Good luck!!

COME on! does it the black Really look imposing? okay maybe i should change the blue border. The lady who mentioned the colours earlier on was making the comment when the site had a Yellow backround and Pink font Heading. I know i still have a lot to learn, but give me a break on this one....pls

No Fair!!!

Trying to help, but you got the right songs at the right time, and I am having to much fun listening to the jams on the home page. (Is this good or bad, lol.) Awesome, tee hee, had to timeout with Cyndi Lauper, cause "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"! So Sorry you are not close to me or I would be your next customer!!!!!!

p.s. The colors of the text and background on home page are on the money for a dj now!

I have no problem with the colours at all. What I do think though is the home page looks bare and lacking charcter and content. You need to tell people where you are based, if someone in your area wants a mobile disco and puts in say 'Mobile Disco Dublin' then there is nothing on your home page to make this happen, nothing for google to pick up on. Also I would like to see a picture of yourself actually doing the disco, or at least a pic of you. Making it more professional and you will give a better impression, your site always reflects on your business. So add some more content, say where you are based and also add some sort of pic. You will learn and improve as you go on and you have made a decent start.
