    Why only one page.
The page take to long download more than one page may alleviate this problem.

I don't know what country you come from but your grammar and spelling need some serious intervention. Your page width is too wide and I don't really see a website that justifies to be on the tesing ground forum? It's just one page, it has me totally confused to what it is you actually do, I would personally click straight off this website... in fact.. I did! Sorry, but you did ask.

I agree with several of the comments posted so far, first the page is too wide (set it to 800x600), the images diplayed are distorted (hope your not infringing on copy rights) it feels more like your my space page than an actual web site. I would sit down and come up with a clear plan about wha you want and how it should look.

    Hi Andyrands,

    I have 3 comments

    1. Remove that vertical blue column on the left of your page as it does nothing for your page. It is unsightly to me.

    2. Change the blue colored text at the bottom half to white so that it becomes more readable. Avoid using colored text in menus.

    3. Frame your page properly. A background is a background and should be seperated from your banners and texts so that they will stand out and catch your viewers attention. A background should remain behind everything and should be noticed but not seen as the main attraction of the page.

Nowadays the smallest laptop has 14" lcd screens so dont waste your
space by adhereing to the 800w x 900h requirements. 1000 wide is better as you can increase productivity of your page. You can have your pages as high [or long] as you want. It is your preference and entirely up to you. Goto about.com and see how wide their pages are?

it is better ... see my comments in your other thread ... unfortunately your website does not inspire me to hire you ... this comment is meant as constructive criticism ... take a look at this website http://www.hybridmoon.com/index.php ... this inspires me to look further into what services are offered ... it is a simple, well designed functional website that make it simple for the potential client to take a look at what they can do ... I hope this helps ...

I tried to play your video but no luck. Your work should be on the page above the stuff you think is just fun to look at (unless you did the work). Also agree that your copy is confusing (make a list of exactly what you do, not what you think people want)
I had trouble with links too. I put my glasses on and found a bunch of dumb mistakes and I put stuff in the wrong boxes. Watch the tutorials over and over. It took me about a month to get it, but eventually it will work.

After watching 4 threads being created for the same site (a couple in one day, no less) and the lack of measurable progress, I am left with the same compelling question: How old are you? Until you answer, there will not be much of an explanation or a referential mindset to properly address......

Yes, you have made some improvement, and your answer helps to understand the nature of your challenges in doing so. Because of the many comments and suggestions previously offered but not understood, I asked your age because I personally suspected something was indeed present to pose a challenge, such as youth (being unfamiliar with many concepts and staggered progress, which is similar to your case being a "newbie" and having dyslexia which must be frustrating), a reading problem, or even English being a second language.

Knowing what our peers are dealing with helps tremendously in tailoring our replies and minds us to pace the progress of others more appropriate to their abilities, not our expectations!

Andy, much improved I like the look much better. The fact that you shortened the home page was a wise choice. Ok, a few tweaks on the button for "about Us" when you mouse over it the lable disapears. Second center the pages, make sure the page properties are set between 800 to 900. The video did not work, and the images are still abit distorted. I hope this is constructive and will help.

A couple of tweaks that I noticed where you have free quot no job to small quote the e was left off quote. On your price page on the bottom theres tex overlapping. Your pages open a new window keep it uniformed by staying in the same window. You came a long way since I first viewed it Iwas gong to give a review at that time but lost conection. good luck

Andy a few items left to fix, other than the video (check your control pannel to make sure it is there and how it is saved) your logos are very small and distorted, if you want them that small I would either make new ones or delete them entirely (they really don't add anything to your content now because you can not read them. The images are still very distorted (from shrinking them down) above the Ironman image the text runs off the page. There are two images of cameras (half way down the page) that seem out of place (like there not supposed to be there), one of them is half covered over, as well as both being distorted. As the post above mentioned I would have the pages open in the same window, be sure to have a way for them to link back. The banner above the video screen has a scroll that only works if one clicks on it (most never will) have it continuously scroll. I would link you email address to your email so that all they have to do is click on it right from your site (this I would have open in a different window) On your pricing page I would do a spelling and grammer check where you are expalining your services, and I would also have the prices in US dollars as well (just my oppinion since I live in the US) Hope this helps

Nice Job, looks like you did take all our advice and the site looks great. If you figure out the problem with the video you'll have it, I did notice that the banner over the video seems to cover the screen abit. Not sure if this was intentional but I thouhgt I would bring it to your attention.

    Andy,

Your About Us page looks a little rough. Try this below:

We have edited a vast amount of footage which has been broadcasted on various sites like You tube, Linux and several other sites. We’ve had lots of success editing videos of Birthday Parties, Holiday gatherings, Weddings and various Special Occasions etc.

We can also transfer photos to DVD with a choice of your favorite audio tracks. We have a vast library of over 500 hours of music ranging from Classical to Rock.

Thank you for taking the time to read about and we hope when you think of editing your precious memories you will think of A.R. Video Editing.

    Andy,

"About Us" page looks much better...you should title it ABOUT US. Take a look through the website...video's should be videos your 's is being used incorrectly..also on your banner..I'm sorry.. but it looks terrible...:( ect is wrong..should be etc...rite should be right...were should be where. You need to work on grammer and spelling..this will be a turn off to potential customers...if your spelling and grammer is wrong, they will not trust you with their photos or vidieos.

    Best of Luck!!

Click on the control pannel, find the server that you are using and log in. Now click the file manager, click ok on the next screen, this will show all the fies you have uploaded. If you do not see your video file click the upload link at the upper portion of the page, find your file and click on it and up load. Now you should able to link to it (pay attention to how you lable it).

    Andy,

Firstly, you have to start learning to post a question ONCE only. You WILL get answered when someone has the answer for you. There are people on here who specialise in certain fields and they are not online all the time, please be a little more patient and your answers will be forthcoming.

    To answer your question...

If you have a media file called media_file1.wmv then your url will be:

    www.your site.com/media_file1.wmv

However, you will also need to upload this media file to your server either by your CP or by FTP
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

Andy, the url would be www.andrands.com/media_file1.wmv (the underscore is hidden by the blue line in the link but its there). Just like any other link to a page or (in this case) a file.
