Thread: Newbie here, please check my first website

This is my first site,I know the url is way too long,Can that be chaanged in BV,or do I have to live with it, lol?Still some relining of pages,working on meta tags, so... some opinions and any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yeah the url is a bit on the long side :O

You have alot of overlapping in internet explorer a lot of pages your dazziling eyes page took time to load I would check on your images they may need to come down in kbs heres alink for the pix resizer
http://www.vodahost.com/pix.htm for the first shot I think your off to a good start also you have pages that are untitled use keyword or keyword phases look at similar sites so you could get a good idea just make sure those keywords are used in tex on that page like I said your off to a good start the site has a good look just fix thoses tweaks and have the keywords in place in titles and on pages in tex you will be amazed I personaly think your on your way problay more thanyou can imagone good luck

Thank you for your input.I have wprked on renaming pages,duhh, and getting it inline. Will do pics again, I did resize them 1 time,gyess they need to be a little smaller. Thanks for your time.

Nice bright site, not too harsh on the eye.
You need to check your composition - space after commas, no comma after 'and', full stops and new sentence where you have commas. etc.
Easy to navigate. Like it.

Well, you will need a web builder like BlueVoda, which is what most people on here use. I'm a web designer and it's the only one I've ever used. Haven't really tried to look around lol!

Anyway, with BlueVoda, you can only publish the pages you design to a VodaHost account. Go here to download BlueVoda for free and play around with it. If you can use MS word or a program like that, you can use BlueVoda.

I like the look of of it, but if you allow me, I would change the font type to another one more easily legible.

Read somewhere that font type must not get your eyes tired after you read for a while, and you DO want people to read what you have on your site, dont you?

Very nice!

The makeup comes in very bright, way out colours !- should appeal to teenagers. If you start selling a lot to teens - I would maybe change the pics on your homepage to show what effects the makeup can achieve.

The photos and 'add to cart' buttons on your concealers page need lining up slightly.

Mineral makeup is very popular right now so goodluck with your site!

I thought about going for the teen thing, but,most of the teens dont have any money lol. I am working on a page for teens,the whole Scene look, but most of these kids rely on parents for the money. I am raising a teen grandaughter,she knows how to spend my money!
