    Default UPdated site using BV10.12

Downloaded BV10 and went through entire site optimizing page sizes and checking spelling and everything else I could think of. Including appearance in FF - can anyone see more I need to do

nice looking site. Two things that I would do is put the pay pal buttons bellow the item instead of in the picture and work on the title with keyword phases other than that good job, Good luck

Hum thought I'd done a pretty good job on title (title of page right?), key words and descriptions - guess I've missed something - any "this" "not this" suggestions so I can straighten out my thinking and work on this.
The key words have to be on the page right?
    Thanks

Just as a quick guide, this is what I see at the moment

    Meta tags analysis.
    Title: Title contains no errors.
    This tag contains 65 characters.

Title relevancy to page content is very good.
The Title relevancy to page content is 88%.

Description: Description meta tag contains no errors.
    This tag contains 178 characters.

Description meta tag relevancy to page content is good.
The Description meta tag relevancy to page content is 77%.

Keywords: Keywords meta tag contains no errors.
This tag contains 18 keywords and 193 characters.

Keywords meta tag relevancy to page content is good.
The keywords meta tag relevancy to page content is 72%.

Robots: The Robots meta tag contains no errors.
    This tag contains 18 characters.

Author: The Author meta tag contains no errors.
    This tag contains 10 characters.

You have the right words and sentences, but not just in the right places.

With a bit of re-working you could get all 3 to 100%......and then the real work would start...............lol

    1) pick a title that contains the important key words in your content.

    2) Use the title in your page description with an extra short sentence that contains 1 or 2 other keywords.

    3) cut down on the number of keywords to start with.....4 or 5 will have more impact.

Use a meta tag analizer to get you going.....they are not infallible, but you can learn from them..

    Hi Ann

I couldn't resist updating my site either when the new BV came out. You've done a lovely job.

I'm not as much into analysis as David lol but the only thing I would say (from a marketing point of view) is that it's good to speak directly to the customer.

eg. "You are one of a kind. You deserve no less than unique, one-of-a-kind handcrafted jewelry that will reflect the woman you are."

A professional closeup photo of a woman wearing a stunning piece of your jewelry would also look great on your homepage.

(there's a little typo with the word 'browsing' on the homepage - you have 'brousing')

thank you David - I will continue to work on the tags etc. seems like I'm just making them worse though -
Sunchaser - THANKs for the typo - its funny how you can look and look and skip over things. like your idea for a photo of wearing - I also need to redo some of the photos that aren't *****
Joe as I rework things will take your suggestion into consideration.

The site looks much better with the pay pal underneath the other thing that I did not notice the first time was the view cart button on the bottom why not move it towards the top say under the left menu bars. Where will be noticed thats my opinion site looks good.

Now that I have found it.....................lol

I think it would be worth it Ann, because on that page you use could use sweaters and jewlry etc, thereby creating more keywords.

The more pages that you have indexed, the better the site...........

started working on remaining 150+ pages OMG! they are now mostly in 43/52/61 or about range - took me 4 hours to do 10. How do you work with pages that don't have much wording on them?

Ann, please dont take me litterally...........you dont have to do them all at once....

Do a few selected pages (add a little textual content )and wait for a week or so, then check your position with the seo's.....check your traffic stats etc.......monitor your site.

A good website does not happen overnight....................lol
