Not bad, your header image is missing and your page is a bit to long. This is usually caused by an object somewhere down on the page (probably covered over).

I imported some html for this image and it doesnt work... My form doesnt work either... I have read on here that I need to move things further away from my form so I did, and still doesnt work...

also, I am wondering why when I go to my site, it ends in index.html?

    nice first job!

Yes, knowing html is still required to do many things..

have you used w3schools for learning? I started my html journey 15 years ago WOW.. you should know it NO MATTER what any of the website-builder say!

    although blueVODA is getting closer.....

I agree the page is TOO long...

and you have to watch that object esp.. images don't overlap....

    Here your Yahoo YSlow report:

I really wish I knew HTML... I have been up for many nights teaching myself how to get a domain registered, hosted, a site builder and uploaded with Classic FTP... Man this is alot to take in....

I have so many questions it just isnt funny... I realy haven't been to any sites for learning... I have been teaching myself, trial and error basicaly...

I just don't have the language enough to know why the header image and form doesn't work...

I also do not know why the page ends in index.html when I type in burnfatfast.ws...

To use BV you do not need to know html to do most things, Also to publish your pages you do not use the FTP you simply use the publish icon at the top of the builder. This is probably some of your problem, did you save you home page as index and nothing else, no caps, no extentions? if so publish the page and see if the last part of the address drops off. As for your form did you build it with the form wizzard? If so did you enter your email address, have the encoding type as mutipart/form data? did you create a success and error page named as such? And fianlly the image, when you imported the code did you add a html box to your page (top icon on the left side of the builder) double left click and paste your code in the box?

Lets do one step a time, click file/save as and type in index then publish the page and lets see what you get.

Do you have a VodaHost account? they should have sent you an email with that information on it when you paid.

Hi, not bad at all for a first site. However, if you are using Bluevoda, you do need to have a hosting plan with Vodahost if you are going to publish sites created with Bluevoda. Since html is giving you such headaches, I would truly recommend using bluevoda and vodahost. No (or very limited knowledge of) html is needed. I have been using it for years with much success and don't know **** about html.

$7.95 and yes you can keep your damian name. You can either transfer it to VodaHost or simply point the servers to it. Click the link for the Royal Tour at the top of this forum for all the details.
