Hi,
I'm a contractor and I do custom wood work... So this is my first try with website building...Can you tell me what do you think about my website? www.vawoodworks.com Any assistance will be very appreciated!

Hi, the site has a nice feel to it, but a couple of pages are a bit slow loading.
1. The background image wants to be nearer 5-10kb, your one is @ 800kb. Try a Google for wooden web page backgrounds.
2. Need to reduce your own image http://www.vawoodworks.com/bv01042.png as this one is @ 2meg+.
3. On the http://www.vawoodworks.com/portfolio.html page, you need to go the gallery & tick the “Generate thumbnail images” as this will reduce the thumbnails & let them load a lot faster. Then re-publish.

Great 1st attempt, your site flows really well.
Nice and original, I would be very happy with that.

1 I resized the background image to 64.2kb for now because I can't find one yet I like.

You might want to center your pages, but before you do
check on your contact page as you have a couple of stray objects
to the far right which need deleting.

Also you need to validate your contact form, as you will be receiving lots of blank forms

Is it possible to redirect the customer to the home page,after submitting the form?

Have a link back to your home page on your thank you or success page
or simply put your full url of your page where it has success

I only have one thing...................
On your about us page is the only place where you mentioned that you are in VA. I think you might want to mention where you are on your home page, and then on your services page what areas you service.
Keep up the good work, both on the site and wood work...... Very nice.

You have a couple of pages that go to 404. I saw this on your testimonials page and the one below it on the list.

Thaks for telling me. I have no idea why? Any thoughts? I republisht those pages but nothig. Still getting 404...
