Thread: New Site - Please Review

Here's a 1st page preview for my new site.
It's for a pub/restaurant.
Just looking for your overall feedback and feel of the site.

Looks OK! But the header images might be a bit distracting if it was like this on all pages. The header images also need to be lowered in KB's as there is a hesitation on loading for the 1st 30 seconds or so.

The header to ages to upload for me too, about 3 - 4 mins. I don't have super fast internet but it's not as usually super slow either.

I found some of the content text a bit hard to read, perhaps increase the font size a little and the info@macnamaras.com which you have in blue is also a bit small and hard to see/read. I'd probably change the shade of blue your using. Because you have a black background, avoid using dark text colours...perhaps a lighter blue??

Just my opinion. Other than that, I like it so far.

I reduced the size of the header photos considerably.

I hope they load quicker for you now.

Also, I used the ad banner rotator to do the header slideshow.
Any recommendations on how this can be achieved better?

Any thoughts about the look and feel of the site?

only comment is the red outline box at the top left maybe should be a little bigger to include the word "Drinks"?
