    Question Sluggish downoad etc Any views?

    I have now been live for a couple of weeks but, as a novice, would welcome some advice from the professionals.

    1. The pages download slowly (I am on 1123mps broadband). Is this due to the picture sizes? If so how do I keep the dimensions the same but reduce the pixels and forego some quality?
    2. Does the cream background to each page cause a problem?
    3. Does the bold print slow things down?
    4. Searches in GOOGLE with a close approximation to the title does not throw up my site. Any ideas?
    5. I have chosen the keywords carefully but are they correct?

    Any comments and ideas welcome. I have a £30 Google adwords voucher until 30th June so would like "to get on board" for that.

    Many thanks for your prompt response. Yes, someone has got at my guestbook. I don't think I need one really so perhaps the best things is to remove it.
