    Default Feedback welcome and appreciated!

I've created this site (in Portuguese, I'm sorry...) to offer orientation on Health, Finance and Careers to 50+ people considering retirement. I've tried to keep it simple as Brazilians over 50 are not always internet experts.

Your feedback and suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated.

1st. I don't like that image with leaves is over the logo.
2nd. You should change a logo, make something better.
3rd. Try to use different menu. I would recomend this site, there are a lot of free stuff which you could use for your site. You can edit everything with Photoshop. If you need any help with those files, feel free to ask me. If you need help, email me armis12321 (@) yahoo . com !
4th. Add some color to website, use tables or something like that.
And last, not so important, maybe add favorite icon.

    Hi,
I agree with Armands: 1st. I don't like that image with leaves is over the logo.
Also, you have a varying amount of side-scroll on your pages - check your page width in "page properties".
Otherwise not so bad, actually :)

Never measure the height of the mountain you're climbing. At the summit, look back and see how small it really is!

The symetry of your layout is very nice. I did notice, however, that all the pages do not center on the screen evenly; that should be adjusted. Also, several pages have too much empty space at the bottom. That should be adjusted.

Finally, on the Nossa Proposta page, there is a rectangle below your tabs, which is very nice. That should be placed on al of the pages; and then have you sub-tabs set on top.

As for the recommendations concerning the leaf, a dried leaf reflects the end of a cycle - death. Try to come up with an image that reflects the main theme of your site's message, a future of - hope, comfort, ???

Thanks so much, Armands. I will try to come up with a different logo and add some color or tables. I was expecting some comments on the colors - although supposed to evole autumn tones, I find them a bit depressing. Any comments?

    Abraços,

Hi, David. Thank you for your feedback. As I replied to Armands, I will try to come up with a different logo - it seems an unanimity that it's not working the way it is right now. As to page width, you"re right! I hadn't realized so far that pages templates are different in width. Will take of it right now!

    Thanks again and abraços,

    Paulinor

Hi, thank you for your comments! I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say that pages do not center on the screen evenly - they look centered in my notebook. Could it be the fact that pages have different width, as pointed out by David? Any other ideas? As to space in the bottom I tried to adjust it by reducing page height in Page Properties but nothing happens when I publish it. Anything I'm missing?

Regarding the rectangle in NOssa Proposta page, I had it originally in all pages, with links to previous articles on top of it but took it out, afraid that the look might be too "busy"...The sub-tabs you mention to be set on top of the rectangle are the links or the menu bar? Other people suggested that I added more color and tables, so it seems that's the way to go.

And finally, the leaf. The original idea was to use a m***** leaf since it represents autumn which is usually associated with this stage in life. But I agree with you - it should point in the direction of the future, not the past. I'm afraid the colors used in the logo suffer from the same illness. Changing the leaf image might be a bit tricky, though, since I have the m***** leaf (in dark orange) in business cards and the like. Maybe trying a gradual redesign of the whole thing?

    Thanks again and abraços,

    Paulinor
