Thread: Please review RP Construction

Hi Guys

One of my clients recently signed up to VH and asked me to build her a site.

Here it is RP Construction in Newport News Virginia

VERY nice!! I suspect the text was provided by your client? I found the following:

Home: All our work is highly Professional. In addition
History: Ron and Ron's father, Walter D. Copp, ............owned it, Earl Weis, closed his business, and Ron's father passed away,.............We do not have "employees". However, we do.............There are a good 3 dozen........Aceine (pronounced A-scene). .........Logos,
Recent Projects: This was a $350,000.00 addition...........The 3rd floor is a soundproofed Theatre room

Thanks for the constructive insight. I pretty much just blabbed in emails about our company. I wasn't concentrating on the punctuation.

You like my I frame layout for pictures don't you?....lol
It takes a little longer but I think its worth it.

Something is missing. I just don't know what. Something with the colors, I guess. Colors are too simple, I wasn't able to concentrate on the content, because the content background is white, but page background has some colors that are eye catching.

That's the " negative " part over now. lol.

Positive: It's easy to navigate, simple.

Nice job! Nicer & easy to get around the site & to the point.
Two small things that might help (But not that important)
Not sure why? But when you click on the gallery images & look at (Lets say) 7 or 8 images & you want to back click to go to the last page, you have to back click through all the images to get there.
Also found the background image a little strong & bolder than the actual content. Felt like it wanted to be reduced in transparency by about 25%.
But this as all personal taste & will look different on many of our screens.
But still a great looking site.

Thanks for looking in Chris. I see what you mean about the images when you click the back key in the browser. Unfortunately thats the trade off by displaying the images in an I-Frame as I have. Like you though I don't know why because the url for this page doesn't actually change....hmmm!

Good comment about the background, I'll let my client decide on this.

Thanks for your help but have a look at the last post you sent me, You are asking me to change something to the same thing. Even if you I replace ** with 'o' as you suggested above, the link still doesn't work.
