Thread: New Site for review

I have one issue that I am currently working on with our members only page. Other than that, how does it look and feel so far?

Sites looking fine, but slow loading with some of the images. The 2 header images are around 650kb & could be nearer the 49kb to speed things up. Sample.

Too many paragraphs were centered justified. You main content on the Early Days and Rack Room pages should be left justified. And, although I like the style, the red on brown titles are a little difficult to read. Finally, your Members Only and Contact pop-outs need to be adjusted. The pop-outs should open showing all of the neccessary content (people should not have to adjust their pages in order to complete your forms).

Over all, you have a very nice site.

I went to your site and was very pleasantly surprised! The color scheme is wonderful; very natural, serene, and quite professional looking. I love the way the links at the top of the home page turn different colors. Your website turned out fabulous!

Thank all of you! I will go back and edit those things. You are absolutly correct in your obsservations. I am so glad BV gives us a place for things like this.

I would make the Contact Us page smaller,
avoid scrolling up and down and left to right.
Image loading too slow, can't wait to fill up the form.
Place Submit on the right side.

Could you please tell me what your site is about and what you are using it for?

We are a hunting club. People pay for an annual membership to hunt for deer, turkey, etc. The site is mostly for the members but it is also a tool for other people in the area that are looking for a club to join.
